HR Business Partner, Mumbai Branch - Professional (6 months contract) - Mumbai   - This position will plays a critical support role for Senior HRBPs in the Mumbai branch. This role requires a self-starter who thrives in a demanding, fast paced global environment with focus on execution and the ability to leverage resources from multiple areas to deliver results.   - It is important for the individual to be able to operate effectively within a highly matrixed organisation.   Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :   Client management : Support Client portfolios. Support and work with the Regional LOB Senior HRBPs and specialist teams to translate business aligned HR initiatives into tangible deliverables/actions.   Year-end process : Partner with clients and senior HRBPs on full year compensation cycle such as Talent Review Evaluation committee preparation, PMC calibration and validation, and lead promotion process review, work with clients to ensure consistent and fair decisions are made in the promotion, bonus and salary/TC process.   ER case management : With guidance from senior HR business partners, work through the resolution of Employee Relations cases by actively working with ER/legal counsel in determining the correct process and strategy to minimize any financial, legal and reputational risk to the Firm. Ensure the relevant global/regional stakeholders are aware of any proposed action and have provided the necessary approvals.  Projects : Effectively Manage and participate in regional and location Projects and events, Cases & Transactions ensuring Risk and Control Discipline and Customer Focus.  Reinforces Policies & Practices : promptly escalates and assists to resolve issues adversely impacting the HRST or clients, consults with HRAD or HRST Specialists as appropriate.  - Utilizes templates from inside HR for employee notification and policy compliance, in partnership with HR Corporate Partners and HRST.   Relocation and transfer : Manages expat, visa and relocation with various expat team members for costing requests and application assistance. Provides guidance to managers, employees and Sr. HRBP on process and advises on risk to business  Leaver process : Manage the leavers- process for voluntary and involuntary leavers  Process improvement : Recommend improvements in internal processes for efficient operations.  Proactively share with others on HR critical trends, provide creative ideas/solutions to achieve efficiencies and mitigate risks; promptly identify and escalate adverse impacts or concerns to ER, and HR management, as appropriate. Partner with HRBP's to learn trends and factors in the LOB and how we can support the business through strategic initiatives.   Analysis and Reporting : Ensure Timely, Transparent, Value-Added Communications, Analysis and Reporting  Essential Skills/ Experience :   - Some HR generalist experience; Degree or equivalent. HR certifications a plus.  - Strong ability to multi-task  - Demonstrated organization skills, accuracy and attention to detail, while handling multiple demands and shifting priorities.   - Customer service focused team player; operates with professionalism, urgency, and responsiveness. Knows when to escalate matters for appropriate resolution.  - Strong presentation and communication skills (i.e., clear, concise, timely, and direct).   - Solid technology, reporting, reconciliation and quantitative skills. Knowledge of business application and HR systems (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PeopleSoft, Manager Connection) a plus.
