GKN - Asia Secondary Loan Trading and Illiquids - Credit Analyst Our business : Asia Loan Trading business trades all privately issued loans, including second lien and mezzanine securities and in the case of distressed loans any successor or restructured instruments including restructured equity. We also provide tailor made financing solutions (portfolios and single names). Responsibilities : - Work closely with Asia Loan Trading team to analyze a wide variety of distressed and special situations credit trading and investment opportunities - Perform credit analysis for financing trades (portfolios and single names) and identify business risks, which includes financial modelling, investment memos and cooperation with various internal groups - Work with the team to monitor portfolio by ongoing review of sector trends and regular updates of specific loan assets based on news flow and regular financials - Preparation of other ad hoc support materials / presentations to group and clients Qualifications : - MBA from a Tier-1 institute preferred - Expert Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office skills - Exceptional analytical skills and a natural analytical curiosity - Someone who is eager to learn, and has great self-motivation to work and thrive on the challenge of competitive pressure - Superior time management and multi-tasking skills to juggle live transactions, daily tasks - Works well in a fast-paced team dynamic with personal efficiency
