Vice President - Legal Entity Controller Description: You are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions in Finance. You have found the right team. As the Legal Entity Control professional in our Corporate & Investment Banking, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm. Job Responsibilities: - Responsible for oversight including accounting & reporting of legal entity financial statements for US GAAP and local GAAP - Ensure Review & Preparation of Key Regulatory reporting's for Capital. Liquidity reporting, & Financials reporting. Reporting & Compliance with various Critical Regulatory reporting submissions for multiple regulators i.e., RBI, HKMA, MAS, APRA etc. - Daily monitoring of key health and liquidity rations for Regulatory compliances. Controls being the critical aspect of delivery; the expectation is to cater to multiple stakeholders across multiple line of businesses, legal entities and regions. - Review & Ownership towards FX Risk Management through trade-out and Capital Hedging in accordance with FASB (FAS 52) requirements. Review & Preparation Regulatory Reporting in compliance with various US Fed Requirements. - Review & Preparation of Management Information Summary decks to support Senior Management team in decision process by analyzing financial performance. Periodic Financial Statement Reporting & analysis i.e. BS, PL, Off BS, Volume/Exposure reporting as per various local regulation requirements. - Adherence towards the Controls Metrics, Legal Entity Control Standards, Regulatory reporting standards and other policies along with review of Booking models. Maintain and develop relationship with onshore partners and business. - Implement internal controls policies and procedures to mitigate financial and business risks. Migrating to Strategic data sourcing platforms. Evolve the relationship with onshore teams & Business - Review, Drive & Implement strategic priorities, projects & initiatives. Drive the Strategic conversation for various undergoing projects and system implementation & Finance Transformation projects. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - Qualified Chartered Accountant or Equivalent Finance Degree or a subject of a technical nature with 12+ years of work experience, in Financial Services, and/or controller/regulatory reporting background - Strong Control mindset and ability to drive and manage Transformation agenda. - Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint. - Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly - Ability to create ad hoc reporting for senior management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely - Strong people management and leadership skills.
