Risk - Consumer&Community Banking - Data Architecture - VP Job Description : Responsibilities: - Seasoned risk professional with sound data warehousing expertise to be able to design analytically ready data layer to support analytics requirements of risk teams by coordinating with various stakeholder and ensuring delivery of future ready data model - Capture data needs of various stakeholder and implement ways of making data easily accessible from data store to end consumers - Work closely with data lead and establish technical requirements. Create design proposals and gain buy-in Oversee data layer development and ensure effective challenge to development choices to ensure delivery of a flexible and future ready data layer - Work with various support services team and make the most of IT capability available within the firm - Drive innovation and create model ways of data delivery Skills & Competencies required: - - Expert in SQL with experience in Unix and Hadoop - Experience in SQL tuning, data validation, ETL process - Dimensional and relational data modeling - Experience with Data Quality monitoring and reconciliation processes - Experience in Data Architect, Data warehousing, Logical data model, data management, data analytics - Experience in managing data / analytics deliverable and teams or a Consulting experience in the data/analytics space - Overall experience of 8+ years in in Banking/ Financial Services. - Strong Driving & Navigational skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Advanced MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) - Proven track record of mobilizing the right resources and delivering the outcomes in a matrix structure/ organization - A very strong track record of ownership and accountability will be key to the success of this role - Experience of working in an Agile framework - Highly effective in narrating the analytical output to stake holders, draw agreement on business actions or formulate impact strategies.
