Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities : - As a Wholesale Credit Team Lead you will lead underwriting and portfolio management functions associated with the businesses- strategic client base. You will provide thought leadership and the needed technical expertise to ensure flawless process delivery and execution. Responsibilities : - Manages a team of high performing underwriters and responsible for all administrative matters related to the team including employee assessment, feedback, coaching and performance improvement plan - Responsible for stakeholder management, performance metrics, constant process improvement, and driving the right behaviour and attitude that is aligned to business objectives - Ensures high quality output through random audit checks of major deliverables of the team and provides corrective measures - Responsible for timely team staffing, onboarding and training - Meets assigned timelines and ensure documentation requirements are met per the business and audit requirements - Usually works independently with limited direct supervision - Point of contact from India to support all business led projects/initiative Qualifications : - Minimum 12+ years- experience as a credit underwriter or similar position requiring business knowledge and credit judgment - Post graduate with an advanced degree in business management, finance or accounting; - Ability to formulate and articulate objective views based on professional analysis. - Thorough knowledge of credit philosophy, Risk Guidelines and policies, loan documentation, bankruptcy and related legal issues - Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. - Good organization skills and ability to work within time constraints in a highly regulated industry - Highly motivated and works effectively in a team environment, while assuming individual responsibility and helping develop the junior level analysts - Operational focus with a strong eye for detail to maintain that all work in the team is done according to policy and procedures and maintain and strong controls environment - Advanced level analytical and business writing ability, and experience with creating and delivering presentations to peers and senior management - Problem solving skills to identify areas to improve controls, work efficiency, and team building - Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve measurable results - Project and Change Management experience preferred JPMC - How We do Business- Principles : -JPMorgan Chase & Co. has earned a reputation as an institution that maintains high standards of transparency and accountability.
