Senior Business Analyst - Graphite Description: Senior Analyst The primary function of the role is to work as specialists for effective analysis, requirement gathering, scrum master for the Graphite UI Experience & Knowledge Essential: - Strong experience working in projects that interact with various stakeholders and technology in a banking domain - Experience in functional testing - Experience in coordinating testing across various teams - Experience in creating, contributing to Story Refinement in an Agile Environment - Ability to collaborate with business teams in order to understand, translate, review and playback requirements into Logical Data Models, Interface Specifications, Taxonomies and Controlled Vocabularies Desirable: - Understand development methodologies particularly in a lean/agile environment - Spec by Example Key Duties: - Refine stories - Spec by example participation - Articulate life cycle we should expect - predicted to instructed to confirm - Data sourcing contract ownership - Information owner - Facilitate defining acceptance criteria - User test cases - Driving and Refining Stories - Articulate expectations for the product through "Specifications by Example" - Articulate the "life cycle" of the product that we should expect - i.e. predicted, instructed, confirm - Own the Data Sourcing Contract and the data mapping of the source system and the target systems, follow-up and ensure that the Data Sourcing Contracts and the Risk Assessments are diligently completed - Act as the "Information Owner" for some of the key feeds - Facilitate definition of "Acceptance Criteria" - Create User Test Cases - Participate and run User Acceptance Tests - Co-ordinate with various feed providers and their teams to ensure we have compliance - Participation in Migration and Go-Live Strategies - Aggregation Rules - Inspect and Validate if the data is correct - Inspect records through Tableau - Participate in Business Analysis especially as it relates to feeds and the compatibility with the front-end - Participate in Data Quality Checks and Validation General Skills: Domain Knowledge An understanding of (in no particular order): Payments Technical Skills: - Basic SQL in any RDBMS (preferably Oracle) - Advanced Excel Skills - Any Data Quality Tool Personal Skills: Intellectual Demands - Ability to identify software implementation patterns common across multiple programing languages and technology stacks - Abstraction and generalization of solutions into functional patterns - Ability to envisage and compare potential solutions prior to implementation Communication: - Ability to articulate issues with the development team and collaborate with the development team - Effective communication and facilitation with Business & Technology stakeholders to translate requirements into software that represent progress towards a target state of best engineering practice, simplification and standardization - Ability to unambiguously communicate through multiple channels such as Presentations, Word Documents , Workshops and Agile Development Meetings - Collaborate with the business technical teams, exchanging and transferring knowledge, developing and evolving standards, guidelines About Us: - JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
