The Team : The CIB Global Regulatory Change and Controls (GRCC) team sits within CIB Operations and has responsibility for providing oversight, leadership and management of regulatory reporting controls agenda across CIB Operations. The team's remit covers : - Regulatory change and advocacy - Definition, delivery and implementation of Regulatory Reporting Control Framework - Definition, delivery and implementation of Control Operating Models - Leading cross line of business regulatory projects - Leading the CIB's strategic transformational regulatory reporting program - Deep dives of the Regulatory Reporting Control environment Role Description : - This Project Manager/Controls role will be responsible for managing multiple, large, cross line of business, cross location projects & controls initiatives in the regulatory reporting change and controls work stream, to ensure JPMorgan's full compliance with the evolving legislation from regulators. - The role is based is based in Mumbai and is a part of a Global regulatory change and control team that is spread across Asia, EMEA and North America. - This role provides a breadth and depth of visibility across the CIB CAO organization with extensive cross functional and cross business exposure, and the opportunity to creatively problem solve on a broad scale. - This role partners extensively with the Lines of businesses, Legal, Compliance, Audit, Technology and Corporate Operational Risk. Key Responsibilities : - Manage the delivery of new trade repository reporting implementations or new regulatory reporting change projects - Detail and syndicate the business requirements of new regulatory reporting change projects with Operations and Technology, to allow each line of business to establish the functional/build requirements for their area to comply with new reporting regulations - Conduct impact assessment of regulations and communicate the regulatory change landscape to various cross asset operational teams and technology - Influence the shape of future regulatory technical standards (advocacy) through trade bodies, industry working groups, regulators and partnering with government affairs, legal and compliance. - Drive the design, delivery and implementation of strong and sustainable control frameworks and operating models in the regulatory reporting environment. - Drive the execution of Control activities within the CIB Operations Regulatory Reporting space, such as the Annual Report Testing exercise - Drive the design, delivery and implementation of strong and sustainable Alteryx & Tableau solutions to enhance controls for regulatory reporting. - Actively participate in global programs in the regulatory risk space so that Asia requirements are aligned with global initiatives including strategic architecture for regulatory reporting, regulatory reporting standards, risk assessment (recertification) and deep dives. - Provide oversight on regulatory reporting issues / breaches, ensuring that root causes are understood and remediation plans in place. - Conduct deep dive on aspects of the APAC Regulatory reporting controls environment - Ensure high quality delivery across all projects, ensuring a right balance is maintained between quality, functionality, schedule and cost, in compliance with JPMC Project Life Cycle and Internal Processes - Plan and report project status to senior management, identify, mitigate, resolve risk and issues across team & ensure completion of assigned projects - Facilitate and lead periodic calls with cross line of business, cross regional stakeholders to discuss ongoing change or controls activities. - Manage stakeholder expectations effectively, facilitate decision-making by providing right level of information and timely escalation when required Key Skills and Qualifications : - Understanding of OTC Derivative products (Credit, Rates, FX, Equities and Commodities) - Understanding of Global Transaction Reporting (GTR) requirements for MAS/ASIC/HKMA would be beneficial. - Prior experience in project implementation or regulatory reporting controls like completeness, accuracy & timeliness for Global Transaction Reporting (GTR) would be beneficial. - Experience in Alteryx or Tableau's for building effective regulatory reporting controls, would be beneficial. - Excellent project management & execution skills with the ability to plan, prioritize and deliver against deadlines. - Significant knowledge of operational processes and controls, with good understanding of risk, controls and quality assurance functions. - Logical and structured approach to planning, problem solving and decision-making. - Effective communication skills, with an ability to negotiate and influence different levels of stakeholders in CIB LOBs and functional areas. - Proven ability to collaborate with partners across multiple disciplines, functions and locations. - Capacity to think laterally and convey an understanding of the big picture - Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills - Good Microsoft Office skills - Excel, Word and PowerPoint Experience : Minimum 12 years of total experience Location : Mumbai Grade / Level : 602 JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
