CIB_Fund Servicing Manager_Associate Description: The Performance Associate is responsible for the preparation and delivery of performance reports to clients either directly, or through co-ordination with offshore locations. The Performance Associate is also responsible, where appropriate, for the review of performance reports as well as contributing to the client relationship. The Performance Analyst is also expected to participate in projects and non-BAU and centralized functions as required. Key Accountabilities / Major Responsibilities : - Timely and accurate delivery of performance reports, including attribution, contribution, risk, and other analysis, to clients - Co-ordination with offshore locations to ensure timely and accurate preparation of reports - Understanding the performance methodology used in the Performance system - relevant performance experience will be an advantage - Review and update client procedures, to ensure the month-end process is efficient and executed with appropriate control - Maintaining client relationship through query management and regular client interaction - Participate in ad-hoc projects as required - Participate in standardised and centralized functions as required - Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments In addition to business as usual, the Associate (AVP) should : - Oversee the accurate and timely production of the clients daily and monthly activities. - Establish policies, procedures and guidelines which comply with internal and external controls to ensure that the statements and work to continuously strengthen the controls environment - Develop and implement efficient and standardized workflows within his team as well as various points of hand offs. - Be an effective leader capable of motivating, developing and supporting staff and training and managing the team - To understand Training Needs / Solutions and implement the same to maintain team skill sets and mobility - Relationship management with Clients (including JPM partner locations) by means of service delivery and proactive approach towards client requirements - Foster and champion "How We Do Business" Culture where people are empowered to make decisions that affect their work/environment. - Review file in accordance with internal control checklist for items applicable to that particular portfolio. - Ensure documentation is completed and signed off as per requirements - Demonstrate sufficient technical knowledge of various investment instruments and markets (stock exchanges) and there effect on the portfolio's valuation. - Demonstrate ability and interest in understanding client's account structure i.e. its and various types of portfolio's, their deliverables, and some of their specific requirements. - Ability to take on stretch roles and projects as deemed required by the team leader/manager - Can work with Zero supervision - Has strategic approach.
