Operational Risk Analyst Description : This position will support the FOREDM team and focus on process improvements aimed at increasing operational efficiency and effectiveness of existing Operational Loss reporting requirements and work collectively with the lines of business and functions to implement those improvements. Responsibilities : - Produce ongoing management reporting related to operational risk events and creates ad hoc reporting as needed - Coordinate Operational Risk Data Governance Committee (ORDGC) agenda, facilitating monthly meetings - Maintain FOREDM-specific procedures and other internal governance/control items (e.g. record retention, RCSA, Basel Independent Review supporting evidence, etc.) - Support recurring data quality review activities and work with appropriate line of business contact(s) to resolve issues - Assess internal processes and make recommendations to streamline procedures, including those that are required by system changes and enhancements - Participate in the development of internal projects and regulatory deliverables - Provide guidance to Firmwide contacts around execution of operational loss activities in compliance with the Firmwide standards; continuously assess the need for enhancements to those standards and create transparency around issues and gaps - Other duties as assigned Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline - 5+ years experience financial industry experience - 2+ years in Operational Risk Management or similar discipline of risk identification and management - Ability to collaborate with business and functional experts to provide risk assessment guidance, recognize risks and design enhancements - Ability to influence, negotiate, and lead change - Strong decision making, analytical, and creative thinking skills - High level of professionalism, self-motivation, and sense of urgency - Teamwork and communication (written and verbal) skills required - Strong organizational, project management and multi-tasking skills with demonstrated ability to manage expectations and deliver results - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint About Us : - JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
