CIB - Securities Services Operations - Fund Accounting Manager - Vice President Job Description Key priorities : - Drive STP [Straight through Processing] Optimization strategy [F2B Efficiency roadmap] for relevant Fund Services Streams. - Digital Ops- Drive Automation using analytical & visualization tools like [Xceptor, Data Cap, Alteryx, Python, Tableau, etc.] - MTP (Manual Touch point) Analysis to help visualize focus areas enabling remediation - Governance & Project Management of projects/controls & risk across the operations - Drive Target Operating model changes - Project management & execution ownership - Ops Task List - Manage and create detailed Task Lists of all Ops process across products & location to drive Standardization program - Continuous Analysis to identify process/Task with Operational risk and provide suggestion automation/elimination Job Description: - Process Modeler gathers and analyses information from a variety of sources (SMEs, documentation, and technical) to create business process models within the process modeling methodology framework, using specified Visio / Signavio templates - Collaborate with business subject matter experts to understand and document business processes - Identify and document instances where existing business processes may be streamlined or improved - Serve as team representative at designated meetings and respond to questions/tasks related to business process management/modeling - In addition, the Process Modeler may be expected to facilitate workshops, fact-finding interviews, project management activities, and other necessary activities to gather and synthesize information into their process models. - Also, the process modeler will be expected to produce written documentation and procedures to support their models. - In this role, they are expected to have competency as a technical writer. Skills/Qualifications : - Strong business acumen and proven track record for providing innovative solutions resulting in increased business performance - Good communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization - Broad, enterprise-wide view and understanding of strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance - Understanding of the value of process-centric approach to business analysis and capability development - Participation in process re-engineering efforts for at least one medium-to-large IT related project - Experience working within cross-functional project team to understand business requirements and deliver process artifacts - Ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected business documentation and drawings, and articulate their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business issues - Understanding of hierarchical and sequential process modeling concepts/techniques - Experience using process modeling tools (ARIS, Signavio, Visio etc.) to identify, capture, define, and analyze business processes - Project Management Experience- PMP or Prince 2 Preferred - Experience in Business analysis or Data Analytics - Working knowledge of Digital tools like Xceptor, Alteryx, AI & Machine Learning Leadership : Contribute to the strategic development of various products within Fund Services. Identify key areas of opportunity, creating robust business cases and ensuring appropriate levels of analysis are undertaken. Implement the project structure and governance required to deliver on the agreed strategy. Further Function Specific Requirements : 1. Understand JP Morgan Trades booking infrastructure and transaction lifecycle 2. Analyze Manual Touch Point dashboard data to identify to manual contributors and work with product dev and operations on solutions. 3. Learn trade life cycle/ SDLC phases, documentation, analysis, testing and stakeholder management. Business and Domain learning will also be required to better understand and analyze the requirements 4. Implement digital solutions through digital analytics tool by engaging with cross POTL leads. 5. Enhancing problem solving and analytical thinking Ability 6. Periodic governance scorecards to be published to all stakeholders 7. Understand historical data & provide in depth analysis and recommendations to eliminate/reduce manual matches/bookings 8. Partner with Operations on BRD / User stories 9. Partner with Technology team / upstream teams on solution build / solution implementation.
