About The Team : - Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) Finance & Business Management India is one of the first group to be set up in India in Global Finance and has since grown its presence across Mumbai & Bengaluru into a 800+ people organization. The group is accountable for diverse functional teams and has a significant footprint of the global Finance organization supporting Corporate Investment Banking business and regulators across all regions. - Over the years, the teams have continued to provide value add to the global finance organization through business insights, technical accounting skills, data analytics, technological enhancements and standardization across lines of business. The key focus areas in the immediate future are driving teams to adapt the skills of the future, digital transformation and enhance product & regulatory reporting framework. The LEC organization is responsible for ensuring the overall integrity and validity of financial statements, financial regulatory reporting and management financial reporting associated with their entities. The group performs critical reporting and control functions for the organization. The team is also responsible for improving ongoing processes and ensuring execution and implementation of overall financial architecture. - The LEC control function is responsible to review the reasonableness of the information on an aggregated basis and ensure controls over the transaction cycle along with managing stakeholders' expectations. About The Role Primary Responsibilities : The group is a service-orientated business comprised of specialized individuals with knowledge and expertise in understanding, managing and delivering financial information to regulators. The group is also dedicated to adding value and improving efficiency, quality and controls. The core responsibilities of the team are : - Assist team in preparation of the firm's reporting requirement to the German Central Bank - Ensure timely and structured recons are performed while displaying strong understanding of the control framework around recons and break resolution/investigation - Assist in the identification and completion of manual workarounds, where necessary, to ensure completeness and accuracy of outputs in the operating and processing model - Review monthly and quarterly variances, investigate tends and work effectively with the Germany team to obtain and document business commentary for management - Partner with the local Regulatory Project team on new releases and assist the AG team with review of trade flows for new business initiatives - Preparation and review of regulatory reports/submissions for JP Morgan entities as per US GAAP / IFRS requirements on monthly & Quarterly basis - IFRS adjustment analysis and mapping to FinRep templates & Statistical reporting - Support various lines of business & Legal entity controllers with performance reporting and other query resolution especially on regulatory reporting - Assist in the successful reporting for Finrep Desired Candidate Profile : - CA/equivalent qualification with 5+ years' experience in financial reporting, balance sheet analysis and\\or asset and liability management - Preparation and review of regulatory reports/submissions for JP Morgan entities as per US GAAP / IFRS requirements on monthly & Quarterly basis. - IFRS adjustment analysis and mapping to FinRep templates & Statistical reporting. - Mapping of financial information to relevant FinRep templates & Statistical reporting; - Support various lines of business & Legal entity controllers with performance reporting and other query resolution especially on regulatory reporting. - Ensure any defects are raised, monitored and re-tested for user acceptance Shift Timing: Starts between 12 noon to 2:00 pm JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
