What to expect: The Fund Accounting team is responsible for timely and accurate delivery of NAV for Clients who have outsourced their Fund Accounting to JPM. This role involves understanding and executing end to end activities that comprises of daily NAV calculation and EOD Client reporting. About you: We're looking for highly driven individuals with an interest in working in financial services and at JPMorgan Chase. Your roles & responsibilities will include: - Processing knowledge of Accounting functions (Capstock/Expense/Distribution) - Draft & ensure SOPs are current - Drive resolution of exceptions with ORM / management - Perform test checks on quality of operations - Lead and ensure completion of daily activities are timely. - Audit compliance and co-operation - Implement improvement initiatives - Accountable for top quality exception management - Encourage, participate & lead L&D sessions - Identify and facilitate development of training Champions/SME in team. - People morale & discipline - Foster communication and teamwork About your skills & experience: - Good understanding of end to end NAV Validation and NAV calculation - Should be good in understanding the accounting principles - Strong attention to detail in review of documents and analytical review capabilities in relation to Fund Accounting numbers & reporting. - Excellent knowledge and understanding of all primary US Regulations, Mutual Funds and NAV. - Be able to implement change, seek efficiencies and manage initiatives along with your daily workload. Be risk, control and procedure oriented. - Have analytical & prioritization skills and be capable of making judgments. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Product knowledge especially fixed income assets and Bond amortization. - Understanding on Regulatory/GAAP requirements About your qualifications: - BCOM with 3 to 5 years' experience preferably in Financial Sector industry/or a good understanding of financial products and should have worked extensively in such areas - Graduate/Postgraduate with major in Finance/Accounting will be added value JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
