Job Specification :

We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated and experienced individual for leading the Wealth Management Client & Product support teams in India. The successful candidate must have proven track record of having held leadership positions involving managing large scale teams and ideally experience setting up new functions / teams off-shore. He / she should have excellent analytical and problem solving skills, applied to both daily operations of the unit as well as partnering with senior stakeholders to develop, implement, and manage strategic program throughout Wealth Management Product & Client organization.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Supervise the daily operations of a business and is ultimately responsible for the performance of different groups of Wealth Management on an individual and overall basis

- Coordinate, schedule and oversee project plan and assigned work-stream activities through detailed management and oversight

- Implement and monitor the organizational strategic plan and develop goals and strategies that address priority issues related to functional excellence, people, innovation and efficiency

- Development and execution of metrics and management reporting for ongoing operations, status of initiatives and any potential outstanding issues

- Stakeholder management - effective communication and regular status reporting to key business stakeholders

- Perform ongoing oversight and provide leadership and subject matter expertise to ensure the execution of a risk based oversight model

- Manage capacity and assignment of activities across the team

- Collaborate in cross functional teams to identify and resolve key business issues by working with key partners across Technology, Operations, F&BM and other front office teams

- Ensure appropriate business analysis, process mapping and process re-engineering are conducted

- Communicate overall program status, risk, issue, milestone achievement and progress; ensure alignment of goals and activities among program work-streams and across parallel initiatives

- Lead the - change control- as requirements and priorities shift through planning and execution

- Lead, influence, and motivate cross-functional teams at varying leadership levels to drive execution and delivery

Qualification :

- 15 years- experience with strong background in and/or familiarity with the Services Industry;

- Prior leadership experience in wealth management, corporate/investment banking, consumer banking, or financial services operations

- Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

- Strong leadership and team building/management skills with the ability to set clear priorities, delegate and deployment of team resources

- Exceptional consensus building and influence skills, possesses the ability to achieve a common understanding and agreement across groups with differing perspectives

- Demonstrated ability / experience of managing strategic projects / initiatives

- Understanding of operational risks and related controls, audit and internal control framework

- Proven track record of managing productivity across a diverse / complex organization through automation / robotics, process simplification and operating model efficiencies

- Technically competent with ability to partner with Enterprise Technology teams to deliver solutions

- Ability to work well individually as well as with teams, shares information, supports colleagues and encourages participation

- Good communication skills (oral & written)

- Ability in decision-making and problem-solving

- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills

- Methodical and self-disciplined

- Detail-orientated

- Confidence to challenge, and be challenged, whilst remaining a positive - can-do- outlook
