Department Description: Cross Product Change Services (CPCS) is a change delivery organization within the CIB's Digital & Platform Services (D&PS) that provides integrated change, testing and implementation support to CIB stakeholders. CPCS capabilities include end-to-end test management and automation, business analysis, data analytics and program management, which are tailored to enable strategic initiatives in the Wholesale Payments, Markets and Securities Services businesses, as well as cross-business functions such as Network Management and Client Onboarding (Client Tax & WKO). Wholesale Payments: J.P. Morgan Wholesale Payments provides cash management, liquidity, commercial card, and foreign exchange and escrow solutions to clients across the world. Teams are constantly innovating, using the latest technology and data analytics to deliver specialized solutions to help clients grow and streamline their businesses. The organization combines four lines of business: Merchant Services, Treasury Services, Commercial Card and Trade Finance to help clients manage working capital and ED increase operational efficiency. Role Description: JPMorgan is seeking an Executive Director to lead Test Data Strategy and Analytics who can define, drive and deliver against a portfolio of transformation projects for Wholesale Payment business. This role will actively partner with stakeholders across Business, Operations, Product, and Technology. Responsibilities: - Be responsible for developing strategic plans to improve testing capability and increase efficiency - Analyse existing test strategies and practises and provide recommendation for improvements - Lead strategy, tooling, approach for preventive and reactive change delivery quality issues in pre-production and post production - Build complex data analysis to uncover granular reasons for production issues and gaps in testing - Manage test data analysis, test data quality, mapping, modelling, visualization, storage, maintenance, and reporting and implement smart / intelligent automation tools. - Responsible for the production of analytics to assist globally based teams in making data-based conclusions. - Work with technology, product and operate partners to integrate the testing insights with the development lifecycle and implement the solution to each use case. Functional and Technical Expertise: - Payments product offering and alignment to traditional products - Understand front to back product, data and systems architecture - Ability to ideate and propose approaches to manage large scales of test data using statistical techniques - Strong organizational skills - ability to take strategic direction and independently develop and manage project plan, taking full accountability and ownership. - Define validation for various internal and external (client) platforms. - Own datasets for testing and those provided / used by vendors to test. - Ability to self-manage issues/programs of varying complexity and drive business goals forward. - Proficient problem solving skills and ability to rapidly learn unfamiliar processes. - Capacity to think laterally and convey an understanding of the big picture. - Ability to work on multiple business demands, prioritize and deliver in a timely manner with high standards. - Savvy with Process automation and data quality tools used in market. Ex:- Tableau, OWLDQ, Xceptor or equivalents Problem Solving and Analysis: - Highly skilled at problem solving, ability to scope and provide structure to complex issues, rapidly learn unfamiliar processes and provide insightful and timely remediation. - Excellent attention to detail so errors can be prevented and redundancies / opportunities highlighted. - Ability to keep sight of the overall context and remain centered on the strategic picture, identify areas of opportunity for process improvement and build out recommendation to proceed. - Ability to use effective systemic data driven reporting to support program reporting. - Advanced numeracy and Microsoft skills. Communication: - Collaborate senior management across organizations to give consistent message on program status, RAID, pending actions, solutions - Partner and Engage data architects and data scientists across the organization in meaningful dialogue. - Liaise with function leads, users, technology and key consumers to document data targets, framework and roadmap. - The role will require working with stakeholders across the CIB, looking to leverage best practice across the industry and other J.P. Morgan business units. Lateral contacts in business, technology, middle offices, product and client facing organizations firm wide should be developed and mined for best practices. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills. - Excellent interpersonal skills to influence at senior and junior levels. - Ability to work with cross-functional global teams and interact with all staff levels. - Experience in interfacing with external clients, regulators, depositary and agents. Working Style and Influence: - Collaborate with Operational, Risk and Technology partners to define security and backup procedures for data. - Prepare documents explaining the data architecture, train team members on data architecture, methods and practices to reduce Key Person Dependencies. - Ensure maintenance of data standards per Chief Data Office guidelines; Collaborate regularly with the Data Scientists and Chief Data Office to leverage best practices and industry trends to solve CPCS problems. - Ability to understand own role and those of other team members and recognize at times the need for flexibility within roles to achieve the project and organizational targets. - Able to work comfortably and confidently under pressure to achieve target deadlines. - Confident to raise concerns with management team and support resolution. - Effective change management skills. Qualifications: - Several years of work experience, preferably in financial services in operational, program or client experience disciplines. - Master degree (with relevant experience) preferred. - Proven and evidenced successful people management experience - preferably experience of managing team of teams. - Strong product knowledge in Payments and Liquidity - Experience leading large scale enterprise implementations as development and/or testing lead. - Strong Excel , SQL , Python skills is a must. Experience handling large datasets and complicated joins - Experience working with wide range of Databases both SQL and NoSQL - Experience working with analytics engine like Apache Spark - Strong understanding of statistical analysis techniques is a must - People & Team Management skills are expected.
