Job Description:  Our Asset Management Risk and Control Managers are technology risk specialists who support the design, execution, and overall governance of our technology risk and control programs. This includes leadership of Firmwide control programs, or the design and execution of programs for Asset Management.   Specifically this role will act as the Site Leader for our India-based Technology Risk and Control organization, shaping and developing the team to both execute with excellence, and integrating with our global organization to drive global maturity in risk and control services. In addition, this position will support India-based AM Technology initiatives as a member of the site leadership management team. Globally, this role will serve as a key member of the AM Technology Risk and Control senior management team, supporting a range of initiatives to enhance the control design and implementation across application development, change and release management, Access Management, and ongoing production support.   The successful candidate will be an individual who has evidence of strong global management, excellent in team leadership, demonstrated leadership in driving process and culture change, and hands-on execution experience in a risk and control role.   Responsibilities:   - Local management of India-based technology risk and control organization; shaping and driving the organization to achieve excellence in execution and global impact.  - Design and implement assessment programs to monitor the Technology Risk posture for the Asset Management business; embedding governance and oversight to provide management with transparency over what these risks are and how they can be managed.  - Coordinate relevant Technology Risk and Control activities (e.g., assessments, control testing, monitoring, reporting, and targeted remediation activities) to support organizational design and staffing allocation, as well as ensuring consistency in execution.  - Develop and maintain strong business and technology relationships to become a trusted partner, as well as building relationships with Corporate functions such as Audit, Corporate IT Risk and Global Technology Infrastructure for end-to-end risk and control management.  - Design, participate in, or provide program leadership for programs to improve or remediate the technology control environment across Asset Management.  - Shape and drive the establishment of a culture focused on the pro-active awareness and improvement of the control environment.  Critical Skills:  - Excellent people management skills and experience, both for local oversight, as well as ensuring global team integration.  - Must be a detail oriented, quality-focused leader with a strong sense of ownership, commitment to quality and attention to detail.  - Ability to effectively lead in a global team environment and manage a matrixed organization.  - Change agent, is a consensus builder and thought leader that can drive for improvement and efficiency, thinks out of the box and is creative.  - Intellectual rigor and curiosity, emotional intelligence, high energy and a passion for the delivery of high quality outcomes.  - Stakeholder engagement skills, including ability to influence senior management.  - Experience with assessing, developing, and contributing to projects involving access management; change management; application development; or production support.  - Knowledge of underlying solution protocols, including SSL/TLS, HTTP, SAML, Kerberos, and S/MIME  - Knowledge of security technologies, including Active Directory, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Pluggable Authentication Modules (PAM), digital signatures, encryption, and multi-factor authentication.  - Strong demonstrated knowledge of technology, and specifically application risk and controls management gained as a practitioner.  - Experience in financial regulatory, internal and external engagements on technology controls.  Experience/Education:  - 15+ years experience in technology development or production support for financial institution.  - Demonstrated capability in building, growing, and leading a strong global organization.  - Track record of implementing successful risk and/or technology management solutions.  - Track record of developing and maintaining senior-level stakeholder relationships.
