Position Responsibilities: - Ensure all scheduled operational deliverables are completed by agreed deadlines with the client and/or internal JPMorgan divisions - Reconciliation of trades, investment positions and cash balances to external third parties (banks, prime brokers, counter parties and custodians) - Perform trade break resolution with prime brokers and counter parties - Trade support for listed and OTC products - Oversee PB Margin, Collateral Management and OTC Settlements functions - Review OTC long form confirmation and/or confirmations via electronic platforms - Management of security life cycle event processing - Ensure that all controls and procedures outlined in the procedures manual and general company policies are complied with across all groups - Create, maintain and update procedures for client specific deliverables - Work closely with the on-boarding team and client through the client implementation process - On-going review of daily controls and communication of any new training or procedural changes to the team - Act as client relationship manager and service as escalation contact - Ensure appropriate allocation of work across teams - Conduct training and coaching new team members - Streamline operational processes to reduce risk and improve efficiencies - Work closely with technology to perform user acceptance testing, for upgrades, and enhancements - Management reporting for MIS and ad hoc request - Act as project lead on departmental initiatives - Responsible for monthly operations sign-off (including finalizing reconciliations and assessing materiality) Qualifications Requirements: - Bachelor degree required, degree preference is Finance, Accounting, or Economics - 7+ years of Hedge Fund Operations or Funds Admin experience - 3+ years management experience - 3+ years of reconciliation experience - Diverse product exposure including Listed and OTC products - PB Margin, Collateral Management, Settlements experience required - Experience using Geneva, DTCC, Mark-It wire and TriOptima a plus - Corporate Action processing experience preferred. - Proven aptitude to lead and manage high performing teams - Superior interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work within a fast paced environment - Excellent client service orientation and proven ability to deal with demanding clients - Critical thinker with track record of process improvements - Strong communication and analytical skills
