This is a unique opportunity for you to work in the Self Directed Investing team to partner with the inter Business lines to provide a comprehensive view As the Director of Product Self-Directed Investing Product you will lead, coach, and oversee the India-based Product and Design team for the Self-Directed Investing product. Responsibilities include partnering to successfully stand up several highly functioning product-driven digital product teams, ensuring strong team execution and quality, and championing delivery best practices. In addition to product and team leadership, the successful candidate will also be responsible for some strategic product initiatives, such as an experimentation strategy to optimize and drive OKRs. Through the experiences your team creates and manages, you will create a holistic client experience that differentiates the offering in the marketplace and drives client engagement, establishes loyalty to our platform, and ultimately enables growth for the self-directed investing business. Scope for the experience that your team and partner teams will manage and deliver includes web, mobile, and text and email notifications. This leader will model and cultivate the team's customer first orientation, lean agile mindset and entrepreneurial spirit. This role reports to the Co-Head of Self-Directed Investing Product. Job responsibilities: - Represent the Online Investing product team locally, clarifying and contributing to vision, strategy and roadmap - Oversee team of 5 product managers and 3 designers - Support New York based Online Investing team - Develops a close partnership with product, design, engineering, QA, agility, and data analytics team members to form collaborative working team dynamics and strong agility metrics. - Coaches team to use product and design best practices and grow their skill set across the product development lifecycle (discovery, delivery, quality assurance, go-to-market, and production support). - Leads with clear vision, supported by robust documentation, workflows, detailed business requirements, use cases and other materials as needed to support successful experience design, development and infrastructure - Develops 'shift-left' quality improvement strategy in partnership with QA lead to increase quality of the overall product and client experience - Communicates proactively on status across the cross-functional team through effective written and oral communication Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills - 8+ years of relevant product management experience with proven track record of delivery of new products and features. - Experience authoring business requirements, defining user stories and leading execution including bringing together cross functional teams within an Agile development framework - Strong background in Product Development and Product Management - Proven ability to distill complex ideas into consumable and actionable materials - Experience analyzing, communicating and executing against complex business initiatives - Ability to influence and partner effectively across a global organization - Demonstrated track record of adapting to a rapidly changing business environment, ability to quickly assess situations, act decisively and capitalize on change - Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
