ARDS Pricing Change - Business Analyst / Vice President Description: Business Area Description: - Asset Reference Data Services Strategic Change team is aligned to Security Services Operations (SSO). Our mission is to be the centralized provider of pricing reference data and data services to any consumer in the firm. - We provide high quality, timely and comprehensive data, in a controlled and standardized manner such that it reduces risk and total cost of data ownership. The integration of reference data drives consistency and accuracy of pricing reference data across the firm. The Role: - Asset Reference Data Services Strategic Change team is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst, who is also able to perform a joint Project Manager role. - The successful applicant will work on a varied book of work across the pricing spectrum as a senior Business Analyst / Project Manager supporting the strategic pricing platform. They will be working with a hands-on approach supporting the de velopment and deployment of strategic firm wide pricing change. Key Responsibilities: - Complete data analysis and reconciliation to understand and explain differences between legacy and strategic pricing systems to stakeholders for help making business decisions for pricing platform adoption. - Maintain backlog of requests and facilitate prioritization to ensure resources are directed to meet the top priority requirements. Work with operational partners to gather business requirements and translate them to technology partners with appropriate documentations and workflows. - Provide data validation, analysis, and recommended solutions for clients. - Design visually compelling KPIs to communicate progress and issues targeting audiences of various levels. - Provide frequent, clear & structured updates for consumption by the PMO team, LOB stakeholders and senior steering committee - Help solution process improvement opportunities. - Identify, address & resolve risks and issues impacting projects. - Support the development and deployment of strategic change by working closely with Strategic Change, Operations, Technology and various representatives from current and potential consumers of pricing reference data. - Engage with project stakeholders across functional business areas and manage stakeholder expectations. Requirements: - Strong understanding of pricing across exchange traded assets and the evaluated pricing of fixed income assets (Bonds, ABS, MBS, Muni's etc) . - Strong understanding of interest & exchange rates . - Experience in understanding and translating client needs into strategic solutions . - Highly experienced and understanding of working within an Agile delivery framework, and using the JIRA tool . - Strong Business Analysis skills and demonstrable experience of working across multiple projects in parallel . - Proven past success in contributing to technical and operational improvements in the financial services industry . - Experience of working with market data vendors . - Strong written and oral communication skills, the ability to quickly adjust messages based on different audiences and agendas . - Flexible approach to work and willing to support different functions within the team based upon demand. - Educated to Master's Degree and 3 years' relevant industry experience or Bachelors Degree and 5 years relevant industry experience. Key Skills: - Self-starter with ability to manage own workload and deliverables. - Strong desire to succeed and develop. - Flexibility to work well both as an individual and as part of a team. - Strong PC skills (JIRA & Microsoft Suite - Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Visio); - Experience with applications such as Tableau, Alteryx, UiPath and Qlikview - Experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, MS Access, Python, C and C++ - Ability to communicate clearly and confidently across multiple aspects of the organization at all levels. - Production of project reporting for management, stakeholders and sponsors. - Leading/participating in meetings. - Ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams and interact with partners of all levels; excellent interpersonal skills. - Entrepreneurial drive to change the status quo. - System level knowledge of JPMorgan or similar company reviewing current tools used by Operations, and creating requirements to streamline processes and reporting.
