JP Morgan Chase - Business Analyst

As a Home Lending Business UAT Automation tester, you will develop, execute and maintain automation framework of User Acceptance test case scenarios. Drawing on your software testing knowledge, you'll be charged with running tests, documenting the results, and finding creative solutions to issues you encounter. This role supports identifying and mitigating pre-production (test) defects and maintaining a sustainable automation framework for UAT. As a member of the team, you will be an advocate for the business ensuring positive and negative results from testing are communicated, tracked, not repeated, and ultimately demonstrate to business partners that functionality is as expected.

- Development of Automation scripting and queries using various Testing Tools (QTP, UFT, Selenium, etc.)

- Assist in the definition and documentation of test strategies

- Act as a key contributor in the continued automation development and Frameworks Maintenance

- Effectively manage multiple streams of work and to deliver in a timely manner

- Experience with web testing methods and writing SQL queries (SQL Server 2012 and higher)

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision, adapting quickly to new technologies

- Ability to quickly comprehend project goals/requirements, identify holes/omissions and testing challenges/impediments

- Ability to deliver on ideas from concept through to implementation

- Demonstrate understanding of formal software test design techniques

- Documentation and preparation of automated test scripts, environment, and resources

- Communicate effectively (verbal and written) on both a technical and business level.

- Liaise with onshore managers on all progress and issues related to automation testing

- Demonstrate ability to gather and understand requirements

- Utilize good analysis skills in order to aid in trouble shooting and problem solving

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and specifically QA process and test methodologies

Knowledge and Experience

- Graduated in Computer science, Computer engineering, math, or related engineering fields (E.g B.Sc, B.E or MCA, M.Tech in Computers / Electronics etc.,)

- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in software testing

- Intermediate Knowledge on any of Test Automation Tools (Selenium/Unified Functional Testing/Soap UI) and Test Framework

- Intermediate Knowledge on any of Scripting Language (Java/Visual Basic/Python/Groovy/Ruby)

- Basic Knowledge on Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Tools (Jules/Jenkins) and Build Management Tools - Maven

- Basic Knowledge on Source/configuration management Tools- GIT/ BitBucket

- Experience in using test management tools (HP Quality Center, JIRA, etc)

- Experience with web testing methods and writing SQL queries (SQL Server 2012 and higher)

- Financial/Mortgage background preferred
