Team Description: - Audit Practices is responsible for supporting the Audit Department by maintaining and enhancing programs and processes that promote a standard of excellence and assist auditors in their day-to-day responsibilities. This includes managing the Audit Department's core business processes, including audit policy/methodology and supporting tools, quality assurance, internal and external reporting, department technology infrastructure and training. - Audit MIS Reporting team within Practices is responsible for collecting, organizing and analyzing data to report audit results and issues identified to Board, Audit Committee, Audit Control Forums, Firmwide Control Committee and Risk Management and Compliance teams. - The team also produces materials related to audit results and department activities to support regulatory agencies. Additionally, the team reports on the audit plan, including ongoing monitoring of audit plan status, continuous monitoring events and related reporting. The role also involves a significant transformational element as the department seeks to optimize its reporting function leveraging advanced reporting toolsets and dashboards. Position Description: - This Associate-level role in the Internal Audit MIS Reporting function will primarily involve aggregation of information from a variety of sources, summarizing results, and visualizing findings to provide insight for key stakeholders. - This includes weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reporting regarding audit results and key performance indicators internally to senior management within the Audit Department as well as externally to various JPMC operational groups, regulators and the Audit Committee. - It is required that the Associate be well-versed in Microsoft Excel, QlikView, Tableau, Alteryx, Cognos, or other business intelligence software. A very strong attention to detail is critical to the role. Responsibilities: - Generate reports from various sources on regular intervals and produce presentations related to audit results, issue management, audit plan and risk mitigation summary. - Assist with preparation of Board-level presentations of audit results and performance of the audit department. - Identify ways to streamline the reporting functions and work towards automation of the reports. - Create dashboard related to various audit metrics for the department. - Build data visualizations that effectively communicate insights to the management team. - Apply quality assurance practices to ensure accuracy of output. - Build and maintain key relationships across the audit department. Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience working in MS Excel with large datasets and advanced functions. - Experience with Alteryx or other data management toolset, including ability to create new workflows is preferred - Experience with Tableau or any data visualization tools is preferred. - Experience in creating dashboards is preferred. - Ability to understand and translate business needs/requirements. - Strong understanding of metrics and reporting processes. - Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential data and issues. - Detail oriented with strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to multi-task and prioritize - Flexible, organized, self-motivated, enthusiastic and able to work independently.
