CIB - Markets Operations Post-Trade Transformation - Project Manager - Mumbai - Associate Role Description As a leader within Operations Change management, you will play a significant role in our global organisation. Your deep knowledge of Operations will help teams raise their game, meeting your standards as well as satisfying both business and functional requirements. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including the ability to: - Collaborate with Operations, Business support teams and project teams to execute and prioritise the Run the Bank projects - Setup and drive regular project working group to track the project milestone efficiently - Ensure proper governance is established around key projects and processes - Provide robust communication to stakeholders for program updates - Provide escalation of issues and blockers to stakeholders and program manager - Develop an end-to-end understanding of Derivatives processes, initiatives, issues &amp; objectives - Perform analysis to review controls and identify opportunities to improve efficiencies / effectiveness - Assist with developing training materials, coordinate/conduct training sessions - Stakeholder management across region and product line - Partner with various business stakeholders and subject matter experts across multiple Markets Operations teams to execute complex and business critical Run the Bank projects - Lead major regulatory and business critical projects within the Market operation and to deliver the solutions with stringent timelines - Participate in innovation and process improvement projects to increase the productivity and reduce human effort - Lead the testing support of major releases across platform, internal applications and coordination with operation partners for production verification testing during major Datacentre migration - Challenge the status quo and encourage teams to deliver incremental improvements to processes and controls - Tailor delivery of solutions to clients whilst recognizing the need to uphold JPM's standards and operating principles - Leverage risk management mind-set to ensure compliance with relevant internal and external policies &amp; procedures - Handle escalations objectively and create safe environment for staff to freely raise control concerns or events without hesitation - Support the development of a strong vision, influencing at all levels through the organisation, and flexing message and approach based on audience and context - Build &amp; maintain high levels of loyalty and morale by articulating the team's purpose and celebrating successes Key Skills- - Strong Project Management or Business Analysis experience - Experience in an Operations line role or Operations project team is desirable - Knowledge of the operational process for Confirmations/Affirmations and/or Settlements - Knowledge of Derivatives, Commodities and Currencies product set - Self-starter with ability to work in a fast paced, results driven environment, - Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Able to articulate in a clear/concise manner, influencing and contributing where required - Able to work under pressure and to deadlines - Strong analytical mindset, strategic thinker, possesses high attention to detail - Pro-active problem solving with focus on solution development - Excellent time management and planning skills, with the ability to multi-task effectively - Ability to engage and influence at all levels - Able to build strong partnership with various teams globally and across technology and operations to help deliver results - Capacity to understand the big picture and where specific deliveries fit within it Operations Transformation The Markets Post-Trade Transformation team is responsible for delivering key programs and capabilities focused on efficient and scalable infrastructure, exceptional client service, best-in class controls and a solid foundation for commercialising our firm's assets. You will be supporting the Market's businesses across the CIB. Key Markets Operations product areas include Currencies, OTC Derivatives, Collateral Principal, Global Clearing with a global team of ~1400 colleagues. Services provided to our Businesses include Transaction Processing, Confirmation, Settlement and Clearing, Collateral Management, Client Service, Trade Cost Management. Typical daily activity includes settling in excess of $2TRN via FX trades, leading a Markets OTC portfolio of 3M trades, managing collateral balances in excess of $350BN and processing ~700K cleared and intermediary trades.
