Job Description : - Accounting &amp; reporting for Legal entities in Asia region on monthly &amp; quarterly basis as per US GAAP. - End to end ownership for month-end close activities like Fx Trade out, Capital Hedge, EPU, GLRS, Month-end checks, MIS Reporting functions &amp; Journal posting and review etc. - Liaising with auditors and support Legal Entity Controllers in control audit. - Prepare regulatory returns for local &amp; US gaap - Perform variance analysis of regulatory returns with commentary - Monitor daily ratios and limits requirement as stipulated by the regulators - Assess and provide appropriate regulatory information and analysis to the manager and SFO - Ad hoc queries and projects as required - Quarterly Regulatory reporting as per local GAAP for Asia entities. - Support senior management team in decision process by analyzing financial performance. - Maintain and develop relationship with onshore partners and business. - Implement internal controls policies and procedures to mitigate financial and business risks. - Daily monitoring and control of activities involving reconciliations. - Maintenance of centralized Financial Reference data for Asia region. - Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for various undergoing projects and system implementation. - Engage team members and build effective working relationship within the team. Skill Set : Qualification : - Chartered Accountant or - MBA - Chartered Accountant with 5-7 years post qualification experience or person with accounting degree with 7-10 years of experience in accounting/audit / finance / banking function.
