Description: Credit Forecast Transformation Business Management team help enable CCB Risk Credit Loss Forecasting team deliver robust and flawless forecasts execution, by driving process improvement and knowledge sharing, setting up the best practice in data consumption and tools for reporting and analytics, and support the implementation of "1-click execution" vision across Forecasting team.

As a Associate, you will help enable CCB Risk Credit Forecasting deliver robust and flawless forecasts execution, by driving process improvement and knowledge sharing, setting up the best practice in data consumption and tools for reporting and analytics

You enjoy thinking outside the box and exceeding expectations, working in partnership with Loss Modeling, Finance Automation & Execution, Data Architecture and Technology, to power Credit Forecasting team with analytical tools and insights which enable the business to make dreams possible.

Job responsibilities:

- Execute Forecast Transformation objectives to make forecast easy (e.g., land actual & forecast data in one database and a create semantic layer or reporting cube for easy retrieval for overlays and reporting process; enable AWS services / capabilities for fine grain forecast analytics)

- Drives engagement/progress with multiple stakeholders (Forecasting team, Project Management, Finance, Product Owner, and Technology)

- Manages delivery of multiple projects and communicate the solutions, roadmap and progress to multiple stakeholders (Forecasting team, Project Management, Finance, Product Owner, and Technology)

- Facilitate training and mentor among peers on Cloud capabilities & offering, and analytical & reporting tools

- Ensure firmwide controls and governance are followed through, escalate issues and risks appropriately, collaborate with key stakeholders for resolution and recurrence prevention

- Foster an environment of continuous improvement

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

- Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Operations Research, Economics, Engineering or a related quantitative field

- 6 + years of experience in Data Analytics and forecast execution or analytics in a finance, risk management or other capacity.

- Proficient in data aggregation and analytical/ML tools (SQL, Python, PySpark)

- Prior experience with data (structure vs unstructured) and semantic layer and cube dimensions

- Familiar with Cloud offering and capabilities such as S3 Tier, EMR, Guard Rail API, SageMaker, Redshift, Athena, Snowflake, Databricks, Data lake environment, Data catalog tools, search engines

- Knowledge of Agile/Productivity Tools (JIRA, Confluence, bitbucket, IAHUB)

- Strong interpersonal skills - a highly motivated, proactive, team player, has the confidence to challenge the status quo and manage multiple project simultaneously, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Comfortable presenting information/results to Senior Management

- Familiar BI tools such as Alteryx and Tableau or Qlik

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

- Experience in analytical storytelling skills

- Experience in Banking / Digital Banking preferred

- Alteryx, Tableau, SAS certification preferred (basic/advanced)

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexibly adapt to change

- Prior experience in financial / banking institutions with fraud risk knowledge is a plus
