Core responsibilities: The successful candidate will be a member of the Model Risk Governance and Review group in Bengaluru covering Counterparty Credit Risk models, and will focus on: - Model validation of trading models/pricers used in XVA, Counterparty Credit Exposure and IMM / Capital calculations, as well as regulatory stress testing - Assessment of conceptual soundness of model specification, appropriateness of methodology for its intended purpose, reasonableness of assumptions and reliability of inputs - Assessment of completeness of testing performed to support the correctness of the implementation - Ongoing Performance Monitoring and regulatory / non-regulatory back testing of models to ascertain their continued relevance and fitness for purpose - Assistance with running governance processes, managing model inventory / issues and devising new model risk policies - Collaboration with model developers and model users across the firm to understand model methodology and usage Essential skills, experience & qualifications: The successful candidate will have the following skills, experience, and qualifications: - Quantitative background with at least a Master's degree in Maths, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Quant Finance etc. - Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills; knowledge of probability theory, statistics, mathematical finance, econometrics, numerical methods.
