As a Control Management Associate, you'll be responsible for ensuring the line of business has a sustainable and disciplined end-to-end control environment, identifying and escalating issues with a sense of urgency, and partnering with the business to ensure issues are remediated in a timely manner. The team assists in top-down risk analysis, real-time control issue detection, escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation. Job Responsibilities: - In partnership with stakeholders, evaluate and perform an end-to-end analysis of the business' risk and control environment to identify significant gaps and weaknesses and determine root cause of control breaks - Ensure that controls are properly designed, operating effectively, and essential to a proactive risk and control culture that leverages proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols - Perform ongoing analysis of program related data (e.g., KRI/KPI) and develop ad-hoc reports as requested to support business-related programs and strategies - Assist with development of Risk & Control Self-Assessment mapping and documentations through participation in end-to-end process walkthroughs and deep dives with assigned business units Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - Experience in business controls, operational risk, Compliance, Legal, Audit or similar function with coverage of Markets Sales / Trading businesses - Understanding of the control framework for Markets businesses would be beneficial (Equities, Commodities, Currencies and emerging markets) - Excellent in MS office, especially in Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, VBA, Access Database and Power point - Understanding of the end to end product life cycle for Equities and other products. - Highly motivated, energetic self-starter who takes ownership - Strong organizational skills - manages and prioritizes multiple tasks across different time horizons within deadlines Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - Strong understanding of controls and their application to different processes and businesses - Strong analytical, problem solving and process re-engineering skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong team player with excellent partnering and influencing skil JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
