The current opening is within the CDM Project Management Office team in Bangalore which forms part of the Commercial Banking (CB) LOB within GF&BM India. About the Team: At JPMorgan Chase, Commercial Banking ("CB") is a top provider of banking services to wholesale clients from small businesses to large, complex businesses with domestic and international needs. CB is comprised of Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries (CCBSI), Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries (MMBSI), Real Estate Banking, Commercial Term Lending and Community Development Banking. Commercial Banking is making significant investments across our business to improve how we interact with our clients in every way. The Analyst/Associate will join the CB Global Finance and Business Management organization, assisting with the CB Client Reference data Management team which regularly interacts with the stake holders in US for daily operations. The candidate will learn core business processes and work on helping out with queries received from Business Managers and front office (bankers), working on ad hoc projects/asks, dealing with complex account transfers, as well as with Data Quality remediation efforts About the Role: Primary Responsibilities: - Provide trouble shooting support on queries received on the CDM Inquiry Support Desk Mailbox - Keep self fully updated on current processes, including any changes or exception scenarios, to be able to help/guide requesters accordingly - Co-ordinate with the PMO function to identify and execute efficiency based opportunities, particularly on the Data Remediation projects - Ensure, SLA's on accuracy and timeliness on all BAU and non standard asks are met at all times. Flag off potential delays, proactively with justifiable reasons - Where needed, interact with requesters/stakeholders throughout the organization on requests received, ensuring provision of accurate advice/guidance - Strong project management skills with an ability to handle multiple simultaneous efforts - Where possible, help gather process data for reporting purposes and to identify trends and issues over an elongated period - Support functional leads in developing systematic solutions that create process efficiencies - Be responsible for detailed procedure documents/job aids for repeatable tasks - Understand and help maintain defined controls around current processes, including firm and LOB wide control requirements - Ability to create exec level presentations, from time to time and as per needs Desired Candidate Profile: - 6-9 Years in similar roles, preferably from the banking domain - Strong communication skills, and the ability to distill information into simple concepts - Candidates with experience in implementing process based efficiencies will hold an edge - The ability to source and join data from multiple sources, and experience integrating data models/streams - Candidates with working knowledge and understanding of data management and SQL will be preferred - Candidates with a Project Management mindset will hold an edge over others - Experience with internal J.P. Morgan systems (e.g. Party Central, Salesforce, Sharepoint) will be considered as a plus.
