Job Description : - The CBB Finance team in Bengaluru supports the Consumer and Business Banking segment by offering financial analysis and reporting to various internal customers including Finance and Business Management leads and field finance management teams. - This position would support financial planning and analysis for the expense side of a product PnL (Debits Cards) within the Revenue Finance team of Consumer Banking with end to end ownership of the process and will work along with another team member owning the financial planning and analysis support for the the revenue side of the PnL. Role and Responsibilities : - Develop strong understanding of expenses in the Debit Cards PnL and perform expense reviews to understand key drivers behind movements month on month and vs Budgets / Outlook - Support Budgeting and forecasting processes for expenses as per corporate timelines and continuously work on improving and maintaining high degree of forecast accuracy. - Closely monitor vendor invoices hitting the PnL and ensure that invoices are validated and reconciled with GL entries - Help the business better identify efficiencies in how we manage debit portfolio and solve things like resiliency & inventory management - Involvement in critical projects like Fed Debit survey (coordination across multiple stakeholders), support for benchmarking studies, etc. - Prepare variance analysis / walks during month close for various scenarios (Quarter on Quarter, Year over Year, Actuals vs Budgets etc.) - Provide accruals and other entries during month close to the controller group. - Support any standard reports as well as adhoc requests reporting requests relating to Debit expenses - Constant focus on automating manual process Skills / Competencies Needed/Education Qualifications : - Qualified CA/ MBA or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance - 2-3 years- experience in Financial Planning and expenses, focused on expenses - Good communication and strong excel skills.
