Job Summary:

- The CCB Data Use and Access Team is part of a team within the CCB Data Management and Governance organization. The Data Use and Access team is responsible for managing data access protocols across our Data and Analytics Platforms. We also ensure Legal and Contractual restrictions and/or Consumer Data Use Council approvals are controlled for CCB Data, in adherence with Firmwide and Regulatory requirements and standards. CCB Data Use and Access partners with product, engineering and end users to ensure data access controls provide a seamless user experience while maintaining best in class risk posture.

- The individual in this role will be part of a team that supports our access approval procedures. You will manage the access approval ticketing queues and partner with regional teams to mature our approval management processes as we execute our cloud first, data consumption strategy. This role will work on projects that support tactical solutions to maintain access controls, as well as contributing to the build and implementation of our strategic initiatives to better manage our access in a consistent, holistic and cloud agnostic fashion. Job Responsibilities:

- Implement and execute access administration and recertification programs across a variety of data environments and platforms (ie. Teradata, AWS Datalake, Snowflake)

- Ensure compliance with Data Use Approvals, Legal and contractual permissions, least privilege access policies, client agreements, and applicable laws and regulations such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

- Remediate and strengthen gaps in our Data Access Controls through role design, management and oversight

- Partner with members of the larger Data Management organization and technology in the design, writing and implementing of Access Policies

- Collaborate with a cross-functional team on the implementation of a strategic solution for monitoring access restrictions and permissions across our data environments

- Provide subject matter expertise to the larger CCB organization on Access related matters

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

- 3 - 8 years experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) approval systems and processes

- Experience in building and operating risk control procedures

- Basic SQL writing a plus

- Familiarity and experience with data extraction and query tools

- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present information to direct customers

- Ability to work in a highly collaborative and matrixed environment to build consensus

- Strong organizational and prioritization skills

- Ability to multi-task and deliver to a tight deadline

- Experience identifying strategic improvements and delivering measurable change

- Familiarity with data environments and platforms such as Teradata, Oracle, Snowflake, AWS Datalake, and Hortonworks - Cloud Technologies in general

- Some experience with Python Scripting, Alteryx server workflows, ServiceNow or Tableau a plus
