Short Description:

Join the client facing team that implements the onboarding of fund managers to the firm.

Posting Description:

- The Securities Services business (global leader with ~$22 trillion in AUC) comprises of Custody, Fund Accounting & Administration, Transfer Agency, Middle Office Outsourcing, FX etc. and provides Institutional investors access to markets worldwide for the settlement, safekeeping and asset servicing of securities, along with ancillary services.

- The Client Service and Solutions team has overall accountability for managing the end to end relationship of our local and global clients. We are their primary contact on all Securities Services related matters. We partner with Sales & Product in improving and retaining client relationships, while maintaining a strategic understanding of the client's operating model and offering effective solutions. We are the escalation contacts for our clients across all Ops and Tech teams - those teams manage day to day client queries while we manage the overall relationship.

Job Responsibilities:

- Act as the end to end project manager for the onboarding across all products and provide solutions to the Fund Manager in case of specific requirements from them

- Manage expectations of the Fund Manager and downstream Ops and Tech teams to manage the timelines to ensure they complete the set-ups before go-live

- Preparation for the onboarding - Create project plan, track market openings, currency account set ups and products in line with client instructions, send instructions to downstream teams for set-ups

- Risk & Controls - This is an audit driven process and functions related to risk and controls are needed including validation of entitlement set up, validation of standing instructions, accurate evidencing for deal adherence etc.

- Communication with external Fund Manager - Notify manager of onboard and collate manager requirements, handle all manager queries during the onboarding event, update manager on progress throughout the onboard and upon completion etc.

- Ensure high service levels are attained and there is minimal client escalations

- Collaborate with wider teams across all regions to help manage efficiency through continued automation/ remediation of manual tasks

Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

- Excellent communication skills (Oral and written); Role involves extensive coordination with external fund managers and various internal teams; Experience in working in a client facing role in any capacity

- Working knowledge on Global Custody and/or Fund Services is a plus

- Strong attention to detail, problem solving and effective escalation skills required

- Experience working with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Project

- Energetic self-starter with ability to navigate the firm proactively, collaborate and effectively partner with different teams and individuals

- Strong program management skills, must be organized and able to develop a project plan and break it down into achievable deliverables

- Strong collaboration skills, able to work with many different individuals and partner effectively with different groups

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

- Excellent communication skills are required as the candidate will be communicating with clients and senior Ops/Tech stakeholders

- It is understood that the candidate may not have relevant knowledge from previous experience, but the candidate should be highly motivated to gain knowledge

- Good understanding of Securities Services Custody products
