Our mission is to support our clients- investment process by providing market leading services across the investment risk, return, analytics and compliance spectrum via an integrated data and information delivery strategy.   Primary responsibilities for this role include:  - Product Management  - Provide advanced client and operational solutions globally across performance measurement, analytics, risk, compliance and exposure reporting  - Partner with operations, technology, and product team members to identify areas for technical and operational improvement. Identify opportunities to automate custom reporting solutions  - Develop and maintain custom client reporting solutions, including board-level reporting with charts/graphs, well written commentary and other bespoke elements  - Client Support  - Contribute to current custom deliverables for high-profile global clients  - Thought Leadership  - Review industry best practice for reporting solutions   - Resolution of complex client queries including quantitative explains and design of market leading products  - RFP and Sales Support  - Support the sales process with contributions to RFPs, pitch books, and other material   - Preparation and maintenance of marketing material   - Maintenance of online demo databases   Competencies - Skills and qualities needed  - Excellent oral and written communication  - Language skills including German an advantage  - Strong analytical and problem solving skills   - Organised and efficient with ability to work within small teams or as an individual contributor, within reporting deadlines.  The candidate will work very closely with IIS team in Australia, US and the UK. This is a product management team working on the day-to-day client-driven product activities. There will be some support for the technology and operations staff in MBM.   Academic Background  - Advanced mathematics, statistics, engineering, accounting, finance  - MBA, CFA, CIPM, CPA, FRM  Industry Knowledge - Required  - Good knowledge of VBA scripting including connectivity to Bloomberg/market data platforms  - Industry experience:  Quantitative research  Portfolio management  Risk management  Local-market traders  Developing and delivering client reporting  Experience managing databases and analysing large data sets  Product Knowledge - Required  - Performance measurement, attribution and ex ante risk methodologies  - Equity and fixed income analytics  - Regulatory compliance reporting  - Exposure reporting including derivatives  - Knowledge of Pension funds, including asset-liability matching / Liability Driven Investing  - Knowledge of Hedge Fund strategies and instruments employed
