CIB Risk, Credit Risk Management, Market Infrastructure Risk The (MIR) Team is responsible for the analysis and on-going management of all exposures (resulting from trading activity) to Asian Clearinghouses. This is a sector of systemic importance and subject to extensive internal and Regulatory scrutiny. It offers the chance to build a detailed understanding of the financial plumbing that global markets rely upon in order to function, the opportunity to see the breadth of JPM's Markets and Investor Services products, and the chance to build a broad internal network. Role requires both thorough analysis and extensive interaction with internal stakeholders (BMs, Legal, QR, CPS, Trading etc.) and clients. Candidates should be highly motivated to quickly learn new technical details that apply to CCPs and to engage proactively with stakeholders in order to solve issues as they- re identified. Main responsibilities : - On-going risk management of clearinghouses and exchanges in APAC through due diligence, annual reviews, limit monitoring, and exposure reporting. - Monitoring changes in risk management practices at APAC CCPs and collaborating with other teams to provide comments for public consultations. - Becoming the credit risk point of contact for all teams within JPM as well as for external representatives from CCPs. - Liaising with various stakeholders (Strategy, Business Management, Operations, CPS and Quant, Legal, etc.) to provide credit inputs on existing and new business initiatives (NBIAs) - Collaborating with MIR teams from other regions in refining the CCP rating methodology, resolve missing risk issues, conducting global risk reviews and other MIR projects. Qualification needed :&nbsp; - M.B.A (Tier 1 colleges) with 3 years plus of work experience in risk management. - Understanding of market infrastructures (i.e. trade and clearing mechanism at Stock Exchanges and Clearinghouse) and product knowledge is preferred.&nbsp; - Should have good communication skills as the role requires regular interactions with stakeholders from varied departments.
