Analyst - Corporate Strategy Group The Corporate Strategy Group supports all JPMC lines of business and staff areas on a project basis, addressing topics at the top of senior management agendas. Projects include developing growth strategies, assessing and planning market entry, and managing cross-line of business initiatives. Projects are typically team-based and include heavy interaction and collaboration with senior executives across the Firm. Team consists of 20 professionals with diverse experience ranging from top strategy consulting firms other internal JPMorgan Chase groups and leading undergraduate and graduate programs. The group reports to a member of the JPMC Operating Committee. We are seeking an Analyst to support project managers in solving complex problems and implementation issues critical to the company. The position represents an excellent opportunity for candidates to: - Hone problem solving, modeling and communications skills in an environment of active mentorship and coaching - Develop expertise in a variety of functions and business - Work with project managers to drive execution of firm's strategic initiatives - Advance to other roles in the company Specific capabilities required for the position include: - Identify the qualitative and quantitative data and analyses the data to solve well defined problems - Identify implications and - so whats- of data and analysis with the team - Identify trends and key insights from analyses performed and begins to connect them with overall project issues - Communicates effectively and confidently (both oral and written) - Structures, designs, and prepares well written, logical presentations/ slides with guidance from project manager - 1-2 years of experience from either a premier management consulting firm, OR from investment banking (M&amp;A, Coverage, Capital Markets, Equity Research, Credit Risk Analysis) division. Financial Institutions Group (FIG) experience preferred. - Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers - Works collaboratively with team members across LOBs and staff areas - Excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools (absolutely required) - Flexible work schedule required to ensure meaningful overlap with NYC team (Proposed start time of 11am IST)
