JP Morgan - Analyst/Associate - FX Option Trader

Job summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic global FXO team. As an FX Option Trader in Mumbai, you will be responsible for market-making, risk management and growing the client franchise in India. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Job responsibilities:

- Market-Making: Provide liquidity to the Mumbai client franchise.

- Risk Management: Monitor and manage risk exposures, apply best in class risk disciplines and practices. Apply experience and market intelligence to achieve efficient risk management and long-run profitability.

- Trading strategy development: Partner with traders in the region to formulate, review and execute macro trading strategies.

- Partner with Sales teams to understand the needs and ambitions of our clients.

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines, reporting requirements and internal trading policies.

- Formulate and syndicate market analysis to global Trading and Sales partners. Compile and highlight market insights and opportunities to internal partners and to clients.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

- 1-5 years or finance experience with an Investment Bank.

- Bachelor's degree in: Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business and/or a related subject.

- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with trading concepts.

- Foundational knowledge of option theory and practices.

- Good communicator, able to communicate horizontally with trading partners and vertically to management.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

- Established working knowledge of local markets regulation.
