India Supply Chain has constant focus in building diverse and professional workforce. Job Description: JNJ Consumer Health -India. Supply Chain Procurement The role reports to the EM source category lead of SC procurement Consumer Health. The role is to drive Network strategies that leverage external manufacturing footprints and to lead the strategic engagement with the key EMs in India and Essential Health business in SEA cluster. Manage EM spend of $50MM to support $350MM NTS. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supply Network Design and Sourcing Strategy - Become expert in the technology area by developing in-depth knowledge about External Manufacturing network (capabilities, strengths, weaknesses) - Become the point of contact in the technology area for Industry intelligence and trends, including liquid and cream, Sanpro, Soap and Powder - Develop, align and execute sourcing strategies for the specific technology area - Design and shape our end to end network to achieve best supply chain performance 2. Access to Innovation: - Lead efforts to identify and implement product or technology innovation from External Manufacturers that fuel profitable growth and franchise ambitions of new product launch - Provide leadership for new products to be contract manufactured through identification and selection of best supplier aligned with the demand from the GFO, Regional Supply Chain, as well as optimization of product design 3. Cost and Complexity Reduction : - efforts to identify and implement cost and complexity reduction opportunities with Internal Stakeholders and External Manufacturers (eg, Contractor consolidation) - Negotiate best pricing, supply terms and agreements for Finished Goods sourced from External Manufacturers - Develop and Manage the financial Business Plan through forecast of yearly price changes, tracking of Cost Improvement Program, and identify best option for the investment at our EM 4. Supplier Relationship Management: - Accountable for the identification, implementation and tracking of Continuous Improvement initiatives at External 5.
