Global Strategic Insights and Pricing helps JJMD leaders make their most important decisions by providing a fact based, objective point of view that uses the best available facts and deep insights to provide timely feedback on in-market performance and propel future growth. Strategic Insights and Pricing generates insights via development, implementation and oversight of market analytics, global pricing strategy, and long-term capabilities across the portfolio of products with gross global sales of $23B. The group drives growth and alignment across franchises, platforms, and regions through central-lead, cross-functional collaboration and solid foundation in research and data analytics. Key Responsibilities&nbsp;: - Accountable for delivery and support of strategically and/or tactically aligned insights in support of business Pricing and Market needs. - Lead discussions to collaborate with business leaders to generate insights on customer price sensitivities, market intelligence, and profitability impacts, with the objective of profit optimization. - Effectively communicate insights to partners and collaborate to identify ways to drive action for pricing recommendations, market dynamics, implications and strategies. - Work cross-functionally with the Pricing Team, Strategic Insights franchise, and Finance to develop and deploy robust and effective price analytics, market analytics delivery, and execution capabilities. - Manage and mentor a team of five to seven analysts and managers creating a collaborative organization that delivers measurable insights - Lead all aspects of pricing analytics to evaluate critical areas for improvement, including price setting, revenue optimization, and customer segment analysis. - Analyze existing strategies to improve internal models and strategic and profit impacts for customer segments, brands, and markets. - Partner with Data Strategy and Management team for development of analytical roadmap, continued innovation of dynamic, integrated, and forward-looking solutions across global business teams that will drive insights. Qualifications : Education :&nbsp;A bachelor's degree plus MBA or Master of Science degree required. Background in computer science, mathematics, marketing, or other quantitative fields is helpful. Experience and Skills : - A minimum of 10+ years of hands-on experience in solving pricing and/or market business problems using quantitative research, analysis, and data. - Outstanding analytic ability, including extensive experience of managing and gleaning insights from data and analytic solutions. - Consistent track record to identify and quantify opportunities and present recommendations for business impact - thrives on achievement as a team. - Desire to work in a fast paced, growing, deadline driven, startup-up environment. Ability to inform rapid, but fact-based decision-making with imperfect data. Self-motivated, driven to achieve team commitments. - Ability to lead and develop teams - inspires and motivates team members, encourages team collaboration, works well with peers across multiple functionalities within the company, promotes passion, uses influence when necessary, and stimulates relationship building. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain analytical concepts to business leaders. - Attention to detail without losing the big picture view is required; Proven track record to translate large amounts of data into substantial insights and recommended actions. - Ability to draw conclusions from complex situations, then recommend and execute a course of action in both a timely and proactive manner. - Ability to find out-of-the-box ways of problem solving and apply innovative thinking when approaching and defining solutions. - Problem Solving: Methodically breaks down a problem so that the solving process can take place. Other : - Experience working in the Medical Device Industry, specifically in the Orthopedics is a plus - Substantial Pricing analytics experience or Market Insights with prior consulting experience is a plus.
