VELYS- Digital Surgery is our platform of connected technologies leveraging data insights for our patients, surgeons and health care systems - pre-operatively, during surgical planning, and intra and post operatively. Over time, VELYS- Digital Surgery will include technologies and data platforms that are currently in development, as well as existing enabling technologies available today to help enhance the surgical experience and patient outcomes. Depuy Synthes India is gearing up for the launch of VELYS platform in India with the Robotics Assisted solution for TKA in 2022.

Role Overview :

Set up and lead a team of robotics product specialists to build advocacy and adoption for the Velys Platform products and drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with key opinion leaders. The product specialist team that you will be leading will be responsible for managing the sales cycle for all Velys leads and working closely with the joint reconstruction sales team to drive adoption of the Robotics technology.

Illustrative Responsibilities :

- Create and implement product launch plans, which include specific guidelines with respect to market opportunity, product positioning sales message, sales strategy, sales pricing, inventory and sales promotion. Utilize Launch Excellence.

- Lead and develop the product specialist team with strong focus on execution plans including marketing plans with strategies, market segmentations, targeting, market analysis, action plans, marketing expenses and sales forecast to drive growth and profitability

- Strong collaboration with Sales & Commercial Leaders to determine best opportunities and execution plans.

- Identify growth opportunities by analyzing the target market relative to the position of the product group to quantify achievable sales and profit potential for the product line.

- Establish and develop continuous interaction and communication with the regional Marketing team to ensure the understanding, implementation and execution of key marketing and sales strategies.

- Lead new product launches and drive execution through aligned marketing strategies

- Develop appropriate decisions on pricing, stock, promotion materials, market research, regulatory and any issue which impacts business area

- Promote market analysis and actively collect Marketing Intelligence

- Keep sales management and sales reps promptly and accurately informed on industry trends, product acceptance and new product releases.

- Ensure the proper execution of sales training programs, Congress and Prof Ed collaboration

- Be role model for J&J Credo Values and Healthcare Compliance

Qualifications :

- Capital sales experience

- Experience in medical devices industry

- People management experience

- MBA candidates will be preferred

- Working experience of minimum 10 years
