Provide effective coaching to his/her team and develops capability and skills further   - Through his/her people, develop a solid and sustainable procurement deliver plan to further optimize cost and improve quality of service   - Collaborating with regional category leaders, to guide and provide direction of category strategies development and execution in India  - Be an active member of the Asia Pacific C&BS Procurement function, role models J&J leadership imperatives   Key Responsibilities / Tasks (indicate estimated % of time spent where possible) :   - 30% Business engagement   - 30% Coach and support staff  - 30% Create and maintain strategies for ongoing procurement competitive advantage  - 10% Teaming with regional and WW business partners  Accountabilities / Key Measures :   - Delivery of value creation versus goals  - Delivery of quality services to business  - Point of contact of procurement function for key stakeholders  - Shaping of the future organization --- plan and execute procurement resourcing aligning with global guidance  - Talent development and growth plan   - Manage suppliers with right sizing of supplier pools, agreed Preferred Supplier List, sets of KPIs of supplier performance management and key relationship management   - Further enhance efficiency of procurement process   - Supplier Compliance management   - Category management maturity enhancement   - Lead key projects, including strategy supplier relationship, key supplier negotiation and etc  - Ensure BCP plans in place for critical suppliers  Number of Employees to supervise : 4 direct reports who own category management in India.   Total team size in India : 9   Spending Accountability :   - Approx. $150 Million USD   - Spends cross all categories, with largest spend pools in Marketing agency & services and Professional Services;   Qualifications :  - MBA & Ideally engineering or business admin  Training : Procurement skills - negotiation, project management, Agreement development  Type of Experience :  - Purchasing, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance leading to good general business knowledge and specific knowledge of procurement.  - The holder of this role must have had previous purchasing experience in order to apply expertise in the near term and train subordinates in the longer term.   Reepa Sarda Pal Talent Acquisition
