Job Description : Johnson & Johnson Surgical Vision; a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a n Assistant Manager - Counselor Training to be located in Mumbai. Job Summary: The role is going to be responsible for development of hospital counselors, optometrists and paramedical staff through structured scientific educational training programs. Key Responsibilities : - Ensures Counselors, Optometrists and other staff members are well equipped with knowledge of procedure and products. - Contribute to reach & adoption goals in this segment through training initiatives across assigned product ranges. - Ensure internal & external customer delight and help grow assigned category. - Educate & make JJSV brands the preferred choice through training. - Build and track opportunities for internal team members. - Build in house training plan/s as per customer requirement and implement it. - Maintain a positive relationship with customers with the goal of growing IOL revenue by assessment, critique and training. - Communicate and empower customers via direct meetings and interactions with surgeons, administrators and key decision makers. - Augment the sales efforts in competition account conversion.Education: - A bachelor's degree in Science /Instrumentation/ Optometry is mandatory. - A master's degree or a post grad/MBA will be an added advantage. Experience & Skills : - Should have 5 years of working experience as a trainer/counselor/Optometrist/Sales domain with detailed understanding of managed care. - An Optometrist with an experience of delivering trainings would highly be preferred. - Proficiency in English & Hindi - knowledge of Marathi is desirable due to location needs. - Trainings to be conducted in a Hybrid model - online & in-person. - 30% travel is required - territories included for travel (other than base location: Mumbai city) are parts of Madhya Pradesh.
