Offering iconic eyewear designs and unforgettable customer experiences is what we're all about. We're looking for a Content Manager within our Branding & Marketing vertical.

What you'll do:

- Work with cross-functional teams to develop, plan, implement, and monitor the content strategy for John Jacobs, along with guiding the internal content and communications team.

- Collaborate with the JJ team to formulate a content strategy that meets the business' goals.

- Understand what content performs well on which channels and adjust the strategy according to a well thought out channel mix.

- Conduct keyword research to guide content creation

- Lead the internal content team: Edit, proofread and improve drafts, manage workflow, maintain task lists and content calendars.

- Ensure all-new content is free of errors, consistent in tone, style, and formatting, and optimized for search engines.

- Craft & publish blog articles, guest posts, newsletters, etc.

- Proofreading and guiding PR content in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

- Content direction, briefing & scripting for Influencer Marketing, in tandem with internal & external stakeholders.

- Ideate on Brand Campaigns, craft a campaign narrative consistent with the campaign's goals and TG. Ensure premium tone of voice and effective dissemination of campaign content narrative through various mediums online & offline.

- Coordinate with designers to ensure a consistent brand image across all platforms.

- Update existing content as needed (i.e., keep web pages up-to-date with new information/content).

- Research industry trends to ensure the company's content is current.

- Track traffic and engagement metrics regularly to make data-based decisions for content.

- Work with social media, performance marketing, CRM & brand manager(s) to ensure content is consistent, purposeful and consistent with the brand's ToV.

- Ensure compliance with the law (e.g., copyright and slander laws).

- Identify trends and insights and use these to optimize JJ's content approach.

- Use your understanding of various social platforms, such as FB, IG, LinkedIn, Pinterest and YT to achieve goals and directions set by the Marketing team.

- Craft experiments on approaches, platforms, audiences.

- Leverage insights and metrics for a data driven approach to content dissemination.

Must Haves:

- Minimum 6 years experience in content marketing.

- Copywriting skills, with an excellent written & verbal command of the English language.

- Hands-on experience with a broad range of social media platforms and performance channels.

- Strategic thinking: Experience in strategizing and planning content to reach goals.

- Be able to identify insights and drive impact for platform-sensitive, digitally-native campaigns.

- Experience with moment marketing trends, ability to leverage topicals and popular cultural trends to craft relevant social media content.

- Ability to drive and implement ideas in a dynamic environment.

- Experience liaising with agencies and external partners on all aspects of content.

Good To Have:

- Experience working with fashion & lifestyle brands.

- Experience in storytelling for campaigns and writing content briefs for influencers.

- Demonstrated ability to craft conversation-starters via various channels.

- Good interpersonal skills, an astute sense of leadership, presentation, teamwork and collaboration.
