Job Description : The supply chain manager will be responsible for efficient and effective day to day management of the supply chain side of the business. The candidate will take the managerial lead and provide support for tactical and functional execution of business strategies. The candidate must be willing and able to take on tasks and assignments that might be otherwise outside of their normal job description. Roles and Responsibility : - Ensure Zero Line down on Production floor - Focused to reduce the inventory carrying cost - Minimize shortages and keep costs down without compromising on the quality. - Provide recommendations to improve productivity, quality and efficiency of operations. - Manage personnel productivity, inventory levels, data accuracy and stocking strategies. - Examine existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet product distribution needs. - Customer service support for inbound and outbound shipments. - Ensure the material is transferred from RMS to Incoming Quality Control to Warehouse within 24-48 hours - Detail oriented and experienced in follow-through and completion of projects. - Manage and participate in discrepancy resolutions including over, short and damage issues. - Arrange inventory transfers from manufacturer to warehouse&nbsp; - Manage inventory reconciliation process between SAP and physical locations - Support Quality assurance in complaint investigation - Develops/Maintains profitable supply chain plan for existing and new product introduction by coordinating requirements across various functional areas to include sourcing, procurement, materials, and inventory functions - Accountability for adherence to supply chain and cost reduction targets, overseeing demand planning activities; monitoring progress, increase global supply dependability and flexibility, reviewing schedule and resolving cross departmental problems. - Ensure sourcing, procurement and materials activities, policies, processes and procedures are focused on the highest standards of quality, continual improvement and customer satisfaction. - Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. - Responsible to develop a high performance teams including interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
