Roles & Responsibilities

- Displays structured problem solving, application of right tools & techniques to solve open-ended problems, and Creates analytics solutions or frameworks independently

- Understand Business & product problems and come up with deep data-backed solutions

- Root cause analysis and Deep dive analysis of certain product problems and marketplace problems

- Running and maintaining the reporting system, presenting insights at a weekly forum

- Building templates, dashboards in Superset, and Gsheets for operational and management reporting

- Data extraction as per business request for Ad hoc analysis

- Business analysis and understanding

- Evaluating metrics to be tracked as per business goals, exploring other available metrics for a deeper understanding of product performance

- Work in a fast-moving environment, across multiple projects with varying levels of complexity and detailing

Desired Skills and Experience:

- Proven working experience of 2+ years as a data analyst

- Strong knowledge of and experience with querying (SQL),

- Strong Fundamental knowledge of programming tools (Python preferred/R)

- Strong Hands-on experience with MS Excel, Google Sheets

- Experience with visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlikview, etc.)

- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (SPSS, SAS, etc.) will be a plus

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

- Adept at queries, automation, reporting, and presenting findings

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment

Qualifications

Bachelor's in engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or related discipline from a reputed institute
