Job Description :

- The Associate Analyst would be working closely with a Senior Analyst in providing data analytics services to a US-based investment bank

- The Associate Analyst would be spending much of her/his time understanding the business requirements to develop scripts using Python, R and VBA according to client requirements

Key Responsibilities :

- Working on daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly deliverables

- Ensure timely delivery of the above deliverables

- Daily deliverables typically involve executing Python and R scripts to automate emails to Sales/Trading and Equity Analyst clientele

- Monthly deliverables involve automated as well as manual collection and consolidation of web/database data

- Work on other ad-hoc requests on a diverse range of topics that involves data collection, consolidation, and cleaning

- Examples of prior ad-hoc requests include building animated maps, scraping web data, scraping Google Play app ranks and more.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- Engineering graduate with an interest in software programming

- Working knowledge of Python/R/VBA, MS Excel, Word

- Knowledge of pandas library in Python and Chrome web-automation using selenium web-driver will be preferred

- Motivated self-starter
