The group is in the business of Employee Benefits and Insurance Broking and has its presence through 110 companies in over 36 countries.  Team The Data and Business Analytics team will support the global analytics projects and drive the data agenda for the group. Key objectives of this team are:  - Understand the business requirements and deliver insights through data collection and analysis   - Create a data hub for the group and be the custodian for the global data set across insurance broking, employee benefits and re-insurance businesses  - Proactively identify data trends and market intelligence to support the analytics propositions for the businesses  Senior Manager - Data & Business Analytics  Role Requirements The candidate should :  - Be the custodian of the Global Data Hub  - Participate in the global data forums and be a part of the global data and analytics community  - Deliver the data projects from conceptualisation to insights for the operating companies across the group  - Interact with Business and analytics heads of the group companies across the globe to identify their data and analytics needs   - Manage the global stakeholders on an ongoing basis while delivering on the Data and Analytics requirements   - Possess a strong expertise in data and business analytics and has strong interest in working with large datasets related to insurance domain   - Demonstrate capability to Manage a team of highly skilled Data and Business Analysts   - Display business acumen to be able to analyse, drive insights and create meaningful reports using large datasets  - Collaborate with the Database & IT teams to set-up processes related to Data capture/ extraction and maintenance   - Identify and liaise with external vendors to augment the Data set, perform basic analytics and create visualization  Technical Skills :   - Knowledge of global Insurance industry is preferred   - Persuasive, collaborative business acumen with ability to drive the client interactions strategically and influence others.   - Have 8+ years of experience in data related engagements  - Hands-on experience in working on large and disperse data sets (including data cleansing & manipulation)   - Should have worked on SQL and data modelling concepts  - Knowledge of preparing advanced Excel based dashboards. Understanding of VBA Macros will be an added advantage  - Strong quantitative and analytical skills with ability to translate data into meaningful insights  General Skills :   - Outstanding Project Management skills with experience of managing and delivering large, complex projects   - Experience of working in Global/ Cross-cultural teams will be preferred  - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  - Adaptive to organisational culture and business environment
