Job Title : Assistant Manager - Legal Programme Management

Role Description :
Role Requirements :
- Work in partnership with Group & Regional Legal teams to identify major legal policies and create project plans (scope, goals, deliverables, costs, timescales, plans, dependencies, resource requirements and milestones) to implement the same.
- Work in close coordination with Legal teams to identify significant projects in the pipeline such as Terms of Business Reviews, large scale diligence or disclosure exercises, and provide project management support to deliver the same within estimated time and costs, with optimum resource utilization.
- Set up consistent processes for reporting, tracking and assurance/ quality for all legal projects being implemented across the Group.
- Work with the Group General Counsel and Head India Legal to examine legal working practices and identify opportunities for standardisation and outsourcing to third party providers.
- To create and update standard templates and forms of different commercial contracts to ensure prompt response to business requirements.
- To support the Group General Counsel in effective implementation of the Limitation of Liability regime across all geographies.
- Creating project management templates with standard components which can help efficiency and save costs.
Technical Skills :
- Experience in effective planning and implementation of specialised legal programmes or projects.
- Should have worked as a part of discovery or disclosure revies for global clients.
- Understanding of legal practices and procedures to identify cost saving opportunities with no risks.
- Exposure towards handling international/multi-jurisdictional contracts.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
General Skills :
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of problem solving skills to resolve problems in a multi product/service environment.
- Previous experience involves meeting different stakeholders (internal and external) and using appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance of ideas.
Experience :
- Essential: 05 years and above experience
- Desirable: Experience in dealing with international clients.
Education :
- Essential: Degree in Law.
- Desirable: Qualification or certification in project management.
