Position Details:
Position: AGM / Sr Manager - Telematics, Data Analytics, ML &AI
Reports To: CTO
Place of Posting: Hyderabad
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:
- Understand the requirements, design, develop and debug system SW in the field of ESS and automotive telematics that involves e-Call, b-Call, Geofencing, Remote Monitoring, Control, Diagnostics, GNSS, CAN, Modems and Connectivity.
- Delivering analysis from field vehicles to concerned stakeholders
- System architecture, design and development for vast-distributed-nodes data collection, analysis and report generation
- Develop Algorithms for preventive maintenance, early warning alarms, and root cause of field failures
- Develop Scalable System(S/W, Servers, DB, Middleware and NW) to run algorithms and automate the system to send emails/reports to respective stake holders.
Interaction with various module owners for inputs required for system functional and performance analysis enabling the following:
- Design predictive algorithms to avoid field failures-Prognostics at system and component level
- Inputs to R&D to propose sensors for collecting potentially useful data to provide better analytics
- Vehicle usage analytics in order to build intelligent vehicle models
- Evaluate SW systems for EV sub-assembly diagnostics
Job Requirements:
Experience (years): 10 to 15 Years of Relevant Experience
Industry Preferred: Automotive, Data Analytics, Telematics, ML & AI, Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics, M2M domain
Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech(Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics)

Competencies:
1. Hands on experience in Data Analysis and ML and AI algorithm implementation in Automotive and ESS domain
2. Proven expertise in developing diagnostics, prognostics, and health management algorithms for complex engineering systems
3. Demonstrated work experience in a multiuse coding platform (for example, Python, C, C++)
4. Demonstrated work experience with databases (for example, MySQL, Memcached, Hadoop)
5. Exposure to and experience in handling web based communication protocols (for example, REST, JSON, xml, etc...)
6. Experience in modelling and simulation of systems and system components
7. Experience in designing new algorithms to build useful and meaningful data from raw data
8. Exposure or knowledge on functionality of electric vehicles (and its components) and its performance based on usage, design and environmental factors
9. Experience in Model based Data Analysis apart from statistical analysis
10. Should be strong in Python/C/C++ programming, FreeRTOS, VX-Works, QNX knowledge, with strong in system concepts, debugging & engineering skills
11. Good exposure to use of ML and AI in ESS and EV data processing
12. Exposure to Matlab programming and use
13. Knowledge of mainstream EV simulation and analysis packages {eg: NREL's EVI-X , GT-SUITE, EVSIM etc
General Requirements:
- Self-motivated, confident, high-energy, and bright individual
- Strong computer aptitude and ability to learn systems quickly
- Sound knowledge in communication protocols like CAN, CAN open, J1939 and OBD-II Protocols.
- Software black box testing including generation of test cases is a must.

6. Experience Designing algorithms to extract useful and meaningful data from raw system data
7. Functional working knowledge of electric vehicles (and its components) and its performance based on usage, design and environmental factors
8. Development of analytics systems to run analytics algorithms, generate reports and deliver reports to concerned stakeholders on a periodic and/or on demand basis.
9. Strong exposure to WiFi/GSM-Modems, LAN/WAN-Connectivity, CAN/RS485 networking, and system software is highly desirable. EV vehicle components knowledge is a plus.
