Qualification : Qualified Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant

Experience : 3 to 4 years of post-qualification experience

Key Responsibilities : Core Accounting, Audit, Systems and processes

Detailed JD

1. The incumbent will be a part of the controllership function, assisting the FC to maintain overall financial function and its health.

2. Should guide the team on various accounting aspects and monitor effective implementation of designated processes.

3. Conduct periodic account reconciliation reviews with the business accounting teams and follow up on open issues.

4. Coordinate with the team on periodic Internal, Statutory and SoX audits.

5. Take responsibility for completion of Statutory Audits starting from planning, tracking and monitor the execution by respective team, liasion with auditors for various audit requirements, Audit time management, Consolidation.

6. Need to coordinate with the consultants on ROC related matters and work with the legal /secretarial department for timely filing of returns.

7. Internal reporting on Balance sheet analytics, P&L analytics, Cash flow for all business units and consolidation at India level.

8. Treasury Management

9. Need to work in a multi business line based accounting processes and maintain the core accounting principles.

Expected exposure:

1. In-depth knowledge in core accounting principles

2. Should have handled audits of medium scale organizations

3. Exposure to SoX audit requirements

4. Good Communication Skills

5. Exposure to ROC related matters

6. Candidates having experience in corporate accounting handled audits for business size of 1000 + crores and experience in INDAS (the new accounting standards being implemented in India) will be an added advantage.
