Jiraaf - Lead - Investments Solutions - Banking

Job Responsibilities:

- Manage a team of 4-5 managers to ensure the entire post sanction process including negotiation of documentation, disbursement, credit monitoring

- Ensuring adherence to legal & documentation norms & policies.

- As a team lead in supervising daily credit monitoring and control functions in terms of credit limit excesses, overdue covenants, credit reviews, collaterals, insurances etc

- Regular updates on the pending compliances, gaps in security creation and perfection to be duly highlighted to the senior management including credit committee etc. To ensure adequacy of collateral as per sanctioned terms and regular update of collateral valuations.

- Review and update guidelines, SOPs and workflows

- Review BAU process regularly for opportunities to improve workflow and eliminate manual process to enhance controls and increase productivity

-Timely feedback to credit underwriting for improvement in the underwriting process.

- Oversee RBI, Statutory & other audit related issues along with Ops & Credit Team and answer queries of the auditors to their satisfaction.

Candidate requirement:

- Minimum 11-14 years of relevant experience preferred with Wholesale / Corporate banking credit control and process background

- Strong understanding of credit process and in managing risks and controls

- Experience in managing small teams

- Analytical and meticulous with an eye for detail

- Strong communication, interpersonal skills and team work

- Self-driven and able to embrace changes and challenges

- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and to work under challenging and demanding circumstances to meet deadlines
