Job descriptions:

- Preparation of the credit assessment notes covering analysis of business, industry, management, and financials

- Making recommendations to the Committee for approval of a transaction basis credit assessment note

- Understanding of businesses and financial modeling with a view to ascertain credit worthiness of an entity

- Structuring of deals in consultation with Investment/Business team

- Finalization of terms and conditions (including security package, CP, CS, negative covenants, etc) of the proposals in consultation with Investment/Business team

- Understanding of credit rating model and ability to develop the same using Jiraaf's internal credit framework

- Risk Management of the allocated portfolio and pro-actively monitor red flag or early warning signals in the accounts

- Client and factory visit as per requirement to understand the underlying projects

- Understanding of regulations around various credit/debt products including relevant RBI guidelines, SEBI regulations as may be relevant for the product

- Preparing thematic presentations and industry decks, such as those highlighting key sector trends, emerging risks or potential turnaround sectors

- Prepare presentation and maintain database of portfolio for periodic reviews

- Understanding of basic accounting standards to comprehend financial statement and key ratios is must

- Understand Basel 3 framework, RWA model, would be added advantage

Candidate requirement :

- Master's Degree in Business from Tier-I/Tier-2 colleges/CA

- CFA/FRM would be added advantage

- Good command on Microsoft office suite - PowerPoint, Word and Excel

- 5-7 years of relevant experience credit analyst role with rating agency will be preferred

- Strong understanding of the credit and ability to crunch numbers

- Basic knowledge of credit products such as Working Capital Loan, Invoice Discounting, corporate debt, operating lease, etc

- Ideal Candidate would be a Credit Manager of a Credit Rating Agency/ Bank / NBFC / FI / Venture Debt Fund / Wealth management firm
