Job Description - DM (IDT) (Gurgaon)

Key Responsibilities:

- Full GST compliance ownership for 2/3 GST registrations. This will cover, among other things:

- Timely and correct GST Compliances (GSTR-1, 3B, 2A/2B vs Books recos, Annual Audits - GSTR-9/9C etc.), including preparation of reconciliations

- Coordination with GST auditor and finance teams

- MIS reporting

- Coordinating with F&A and SSC teams for information and documents impacting GST compliances

- Attending to GST Audits / assessments and SCNs

- Preparing reply to Notices, attending tax hearings/ summons with seniors

As part of Corporate office function, support seniors in matters related to GST / pre-GST of different Plants; for example:

- Tax controllerships issues

- MIS

- Assistance / co-ordinate the list of contingent liabilities / tax provisions. Assist Seniors in Customs related matters handled from Corporate

- Keep track of changes in IDT laws and related rules, notification, circulars, case laws, etc. to keep the compliances up-to date.

- Assistance in making representations to the various forum, authorities, and concerned Ministries

- Preparing timely and comprehensive updates to Top management on GST and IDT compliances, issues, trends, tax balances, litigations, etc.

- Explore avenues of tax process improvements and digitization.

Qualification / Preferred Skills:

- Chartered Accountant / Lawyer with around 3-4 years post qualification experience in the IDT field at big corporates / Big 4 / law firms / good consulting firms

- Strong tax technical and data analytical + problem-solving skills.

- Worked on Tax Tools / Digitization projects. Familiarity with SAP / other major ERPs preferred

- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

- Maintain inter function relationship and work for the vision of the Company. Ability to deliver under high stress situations
