Supply Chain : - Develop and execute sourcing strategies in support of Company's growth. Working closely with other manufacturing partners to identify and implement cost reduction strategies beyond the Tier I level in order to drive profitable volume growth. - Lead the day-to-day process of ensuring successful partnerships (milestone adherence, change order management, quality assurance, cost control, etc.) and build supplier performance assessments to support future sourcing decisions. - Responsible for managing relationships and negotiating with key suppliers for Raw Material and other than Raw Material at a senior and strategic level. - Review and keep updating supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing policies, standards, regulations, or laws. - Directing and planning all aspects of an organization's supply chain initiatives, policies, and objectives. - Negotiate various agreements as needed with suppliers to establish best-in-class pricing, flexibility, quality, delivery, payment, warranty, and service terms. Inventory Planning : - Formulate contingency plans to de-risk technical challenges, long lead time, single source, and any supply issue. - Optimize inventory performance, manage through supply chain volatility, and improve resiliency to maintain industry leading service levels to our customers. - Manage and own relationships with raw material suppliers of our proprietary materials. - Ensure inventory accuracy and manage stock movements with reports, and process documents. - Create and maintain supplier information, including product name, lead time, cost, etc. - Lead execution of contracts / supply agreements in collaboration with the legal team for select raw materials, consumables etc. - Lead early stage project deliverables from a materials sourcing perspective. - Assess inventory to be maintained based on sales projection/historic demand pattern, supply pattern, service levels etc. - Control on inventory aging, liquidation of old inventory, dead inventory. Procurement : - Implementing strategic sourcing solutions that transform service levels for business continuity. - Ensure that purchasing strategies and processes are in line to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets, which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market to include: Terms and conditions, supplier selection/de-selection, evaluation and rationalization of supply chain solutions including vendor managed inventory, supplier consignments and safety stock. - Ensuring continuous savings in the cost of operations through improvements and driving budgetary control across the year. - Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power. - Develop an overall vendor base which creates and sustains a competitive advantage utilizing global market exploitation, leveraging spends and leveraging technologies. - Prepare the annual Purchasing budget and forecasts and all capital expenditure proposals as well as ensuring compliance with customer and legal requirements. Manage the budget from identification to completion of projects. - Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the purchasing strategy. - Communicate with stakeholders the impact of market change and potential effects on supply. Recommend solutions without compromising quality or service while optimizing cost - Work with various plants for procurement of extrusion, foundry, rolling mill etc. - Place production orders; define process flow/ SOP to ensure timely production, packing, storage and dispatch. - Product identification and development of customized products and Vendor portfolio de-risking. - Vendor development- quality improvement, process improvement, packaging improvement
